This happened to me and to several corpmates but the [GM]'s are turning a blind eye to it and refuse to help, saying there is no problem with dying and getting cloned.
PLEASE respond if this has happened to you.
You bought a good clone many months ago and got podded after the last patch, when your clone wakes up you get a evemail saying you only had a basic clone.
I for a fact know that I had bought a A++++ clone around 5 months ago, but when I was podded i was told I only had a basic and lost over 600,000 skill points.
I want to show the [GM]'s that this is indeed a bug and to see how many of you have put in petitions about this problem. It is a sad fact when CCP does not want to help solve a problem and players have to post on forums to get enough evidence to force them to admit to a problem.

If you buy a clone at a conquerable station it can get cancelled.

Ummm if you had an A+++++ clone (cloning millions and millions of SP's) and you discovered that you only had a basic (a few thousand) .... how comes you only lost 600,000 SP's?
Surley you would of lost millions? Did you buy a clone way, way, way in excess of your SP's? Incredible waste of money if ya did.
Good luck if it is a bug

Try to find the clone activation entry in your wallet log (just set it to account key cashe and ref. type clone activation). If you havent been podded since you could use that as a proof you had bought the clone but it some how expired (if that was the case).
Also if you get podded with a crappy clone then you "only" loose half the sp of your 2 highest sp skills orso. SO that's why he "only" lost 600k sp.

An A+++ covers 12,800,000 while a A++++ covers 19,000,000 skill points and at the time I had just over 12,500,000.

only the location of the clone gets moved when a conquerable station gets overtaken. A GM or ISD peeps should confirm this tough, but that's what i always thought happened in such circumstances.
