You mean like the owner of a company has to have a vote to disolve his or her company IRL?
See its the same, no fix needed its called trust.

Assuming an alliance would be the same as a company. Who exactly owns it? It isnt the CEO, and also not a disgruntled director, the shareholders do.
So you fail with your RL comparison. Which isnt a surprise, because 99% of those comparisons fail. (Usually the ones that scamming also happens irl, and preferably they start one of those topics when a scammer has been caught and is going to be friends with bubba for a long time. Sadly for them, they dont have an alt they can continue on).

Well reading caod the impression I get from most razor/mm/pl/goon/privateers posters is that any 500 player corp could have squashed BoB... Apparently their enemy had no competent FCs, no leadership worth speaking of or and hopeless combat pilots.
Odd that it took them several months to do it. |

Except not all companies have shareholders therefore the company is owned by the guy running it, i've worked for several companies with no shareholders so the comparison is perfectly valid and the guys running it could wake up one morning and just decide to shut up shop and move on, if you have issues understanding any of that drop me a message and i can link you to 2 real life companies with no shareholders i've worked for ;)

Essentially managment wise an alliance is just a big corp, the tools are the same the only difference is sov, you declare wars as a single entity and you work together as a single entity, looks the same to me.

Croatia is a member of NATO, they can't disband it, but they can quit or put it up for vote on the floor (which would get them laughed out of the room).

Except in a corp, you can't kick a person for 24 hours (if they have roles) and if any one is left except the ceo in the corp you can't disband the corp. Another Comparison Failure.

If i own a company i am more than legally allowed to cease trading and close the business down there is nothing to stop me.

Except that voting with shares is redundant if no shares are given out, ergo if i have all the shares and cast a vote its going to go through, sure give them votes aslong as the executor of the alliance gets to choose who has shares and who doesn't just to keep the shares the same as the corp system thereby gaining you nothing.

No but the reverse is true, you serve the 24 hours prior to joining so the 24 hours still exists.

But a director of the company, Not Owner, Not even part owner, just some dude with a title. And anyways, if you have a thriving company with thousands of employees and you shut your doors suddenly with out reason or just cause you will be in serious problems. It is VERY expensive and lengthy process to close a company in the US.

Thats a huuuge stretch and the time outs were implemented for different reasons. That is the perfect example of apples to oranges comparison. Face it...you lost that point.

You fail again noob.
The essence of any "alliance" is that its mutual agreement among independent entities. Its a like a group of friends. Anyone can turn on the others but you cant make the others stop being friends. |
