Fallen ProphetS

Sorry for posting this, but im looking into branchinf Fallen ProphetS out into piracy...
So..ive been playing with EFT...
I came up wit this...
[Rifter, PVP?] Overdrive Injector Small Inefficient Armor Repair Unit Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I
'Langour' Drive Disruptor I Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I Small Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 100
200mm AutoCannon II, Hail S 200mm AutoCannon II, Hail S 200mm AutoCannon II, Hail S [empty high slot]
Projectile Burst Aerator I Projectile Collision Accelerator I [empty rig slot]
now i know you say 'DONT RIG FRIGS', those rigs are a MEASLY 5mil each, that 5mil, pocket money, if that!!
It hits for OVER 100DPs on a frig, it shifts at ~500m/s, no AB...cap lasts long enought to kill...
So, is the fit good for PVP'ing other frigs and fail fit cruisers? |

I'd use something like this.
[Rifter, PVP] 400mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Micro Auxiliary Power Core I Adaptive Nano Plating II
1MN MicroWarpdrive I J5 Prototype Warp Disruptor I X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator
150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S 150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S 150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Gremlin Rocket

Edited by: Psiri on 18/06/2009 00:48:12 Yea those rigs may be 'measly 5 mil' each but they still make the ship considerably more expensive. A T1 frigate is s'posed to be expendable, that's the only thing which excuses its frailness or fitting an afterburner. You're better off with a Cruiser in that case, if you feel that a Jaguar is too expensive (which is probably what you're really after).
OP's fit doesn't even have a propulsion mod, it's quite horrible TBH.
This is what I'd recommend,
3x150mm AC II's - Fleet EMP / Barrage E5/'Knave' named or T2 small Nos (depending on the price where you're at)
Cold-gas named AB Jb5 / Fleeting Named Scrambler (depending on cap skills) X5 Named Web
Small Armor Repair II Damage Control II 200mm Rolled Tungsten Plate

And here's something a bit different if you don't want to have to micro-manage cap.
3x 150mm Light AutoCannon II (Hail S) Rocket Launcher II (Thorn Rage Rocket)
1MN Afterburner II Warp Scrambler II Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
Gyrostabilizer II 2x Nanofiber Internal Structure II

A variant for you all
3x 200ac 1x rocket launcher
1x med extender 1x scram 1x AB
2x shield power relay 1x gyro

I would throw a nos or neut on there over nothing or a rocket launcher like some people say. It really gives you a big bonus when fighting cap dependant ships. |

Posting to confirm awesomeness of small neut on a frig. Its frikken evil
MAPC/400mmRT/DCU2
AB/SCRAM/WEB
Guns/Neut
I have about 6 Rifter fits but this one has the most kills. The neut will kill the point in some cases for GTFO-ness if needed....its nasty. |

If you don't have good capacitor skills then the 400mm plate buffer fit is a very good option. When I started PvPing in Rifters that was what I flew with great success. Once you have good skills and have got the hang of frigate combat I've found that the 200mm plate / SAR / damage control fit to be the most flexible out there.

I suspect that the passive fit with a neut would **** the rep fit no problem. In fact i have done it many a time.
Great vid by the way!
Edit: i only use my rep/MWD fit to engage inties. Everything else gets hit with the passive/neut fit. -- "If itĘs true that our species is alone in the universe, then IĘd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little" George Carlin |

Fit a scram and thats a good fit. Don't forget to overload those guns.
I preffer a DCU2 than a resist mod in that low slot myself but its much of a muchness really. -- "If itĘs true that our species is alone in the universe, then IĘd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little" George Carlin |

requires AWU V and a 3% PG implant but hey, you get stable cap with everything on and overloaded.

For my rifter I use something like
150mm AC x3 Rocket launcher x1
AB x1 Warp Scram x1 Tracking Disruptor (Tracking disruption script) x1
And basically the same lows. ---- My Music |
