I didn't watch much of it, but it comes off as a Onion-wannabe "news" show. Only the Onion is funny, and sadly too often true. |

...and it is not like she invented the whole "EVE is a spreadsheat with graphics!" joke in the first place. Appart from that, she only gives three facts; 1: Someone has been interviewing Hilmar Peterson, 2: CCP is at a german game con, 3: The title of the speech is "CCP winning the war." The rest is just bull**** or speculations.
Her punchlines has the ring of "Take 20 and the instructor has given up." to them. Emmulating a text-to-voice app is not the way to sound cool, hip or book in my oppinion.
She could have the best jokes about EVE, but she would still be rubbish as it is so clear she has no clue what the text on the telemonitor is about.

Sadly, that's what most "news" organizations care more about these days, especially Interweb ones. They might as well be doing it naked.
PS - anybody remember when G4 was pretty cool? It's where I first saw "Last Exile" after all. At X-mas!
PPS - at least they show Arrested Development. At least they have taste, if nothing else.
