Well everyone comes here to complain about their problems, so i'm here to thank CCP. I dont know when you patched this issue, but my intel chipset runs eve like a dream! One day I accidentally loaded up eve while i was in space to check skills and it worked! It used to be anyone with an intel video chipset in their laptop couldnt undock a station, but it works now. Thanks guys!

Please make a DxDiag and send it to us at Customer Support, we'd really appreciate to have a look at it and see for real that this is working. It is known that this chipset works while you're in station, but not in open space.
Just go to Support -> 'Ask a question' -> and attach the DxDiag.txt there. Thank you.

Edited by: Massai on 20/09/2004 07:31:13 The one time a GM actually posts.. its not to fix something, but find out how to fix something.
Funny, that the support cant figure things out themselves.
(edit: toned the cynisism down)

Well... After last patch were you did some cleanup: "The assignment of D3D light IDs has now been cleaned up. EVE can now deal with cards that offer an unlimited amount of active lights, like software T&L does."
After this patch, and running with 3D-Analyze EvE runs smoothly, with one exception, char's and planets looks, let me put it this way, extremely funny, the pictures are not rendered, as a result it'll get green, red and other kind of colours.

Tip: read the whole message before replying, the dude was saying it is WORKING, and he finds it surprising that it is working after NOT working for so long.

I know. I simply asked for it because of the same reasons, I was also suprised this was working in space.
I got the DxDiag now, thanks. ___________________________ EVE Online Customer Support |

beat me to it gm-man... :P
I changed my thoughts on the post so, pretty much disregard what i said... good to see that a gm is posting though as i said in my revised reply, that its not exactly all that helpful for others who have been having prolonged issues.

Will do, the title of the post is wrong, tis supposed to be 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller. And the planets look plad and if you show info on a character its fuzzy. And some of the stations look kinda plain, but it has been running pretty good for me. Once in awhile when i warp to or undock from the station in Mani EVE will quit, otherwise it works fine. I will run DxDiag.exe and send it to you guys.
