Right, basically my skills are a bit all over the place atm, but I've decided on this training plan to help me out a bit, and hone my char. Tell me what you think :). I'll do it 'Skill' 'Current level' 'desired level'.
Amarr Cruiser 4 - 5 Thermodynamics 1- 5 (Yes I know...) High Speed Maneuvering 3 - 4 Propulsion Jamming 3 - 4 Energy Grid Upgrades 4 - 5 Energy Management 4 - 5 (Again, I know how fail this is for an Amarr pilot at my sp level - DON'T JUDGE ME! Or at least do it quietly). Battlecruisers 4 - 5 Large Energy Turret 4 - 5 Sharpshooter 4 -5 Surgical Strike 4 - 5 Trajectory Analysis 4 - 5 Advanced Weapon Upgrades 4 - 5 Amarr Battleship 4 - 5 Large Pulse Laser Specialisation 1 - 4 Large Beam Laser Specialisation 1 - 4 Medium Beam Laser Specialisation 3 - 4 Small Artillery Specialisation 1 - 4 Medium Artillery Specialisation 1 - 4 All Armour Compensation skills 4 - 5 Acceleration Control 3 - 5
What do you reckon? Accessing T2 scramblers/microwarpdrives, getting my gunnery supporting skills all to level 5, a few ship skills maxed out, getting my large energy turrets and medium artillery skilled up, along with those all important cap skills and thermodynamics.
Any good for a long term plan to hone my char a bit?

I think you should get Evemon, create a plan and add skills for all ships, modules, drones and gunz along with recommended certificates for ships you would like to use. And then you will have long term plan that you follow in more or less strict way.
I don't really know anything about Amarr but I bet that one thing all races have in common is something along those line: better have maxed out support skills for smaller gunz/ships, than ****** skills for big gunz/ships. I am not my skills but... http://eveboard.com/pilot/Schmata_Bastanold |

I've already done that really. I want my BC's to be as good as possible, with access to Amarr T2 cruisers and BS's in time. Prop Jamming and High Speed Maneuvering are for access to T2 scramblers/disruptors. My small lasers and autocannons are already maxed, hence the focus on artillery and large lasers. My armour tanking is pretty much as good as it can be, apart from the compensation skills.
Can already fit a pretty good T2 'Cane/Harb, really just honing my skills in that regard.
Ideally I'd like access to T2 amarr cruisers. Purifier/Curse and Zealot. |

I like it but do yourself a favour, just burn up thermo to 4 before you start the cruiser 5. It really makes a lot of difference, its what, 2-3 days to get it from 1-4 and it might just end up saving you a **** ton of isk.
(I've actually lost count how many times i've just managed to limp out on fire thanks to overheating my tank) I lied :o

It's time you pick a ship!
Focus on getting that ship and every skill it uses to L5.
If you for some reason can't pick a ship, time to train everything to 4.
Most blocks you can get in the shortest time is the easiest way to test as much of eve as posible to help you choose. |

Ok, so get Therm up to level 4 before I do anything else (ties in well with a holiday time wise so all good).
In terms of ship, I'm really tempted by a Devoter, but I don't see many of them around atm. I want to stick with my current armour and laser/projectile skill set really, and keep a combat focus. Maybe a Curse or Zealot...
A T2 Amarr cruiser of some description at any rate.
