Well your post is a bit like... ¦¦I want a BS,any suggestions``?
You didnt provide any clue...theres many wars..what kind of wars?0.0?corp wars?..rules?dont think there are any legal rules in a war.
Costs?The more ships you loose the more costly it will be.Theres no way to loose money from just a war right now,besides losing ships to your enemy.

Sorry to say Esab, you face the major shortcoming of this game, thers no manual - online or in any form.
It would be extremely helpful for noobs to have some basic info at hand. Such as a how to on the market system, the use of various modules up to war and to hunt indys, when and where its possible. Would be more players here, so many have left dissatisfied due to lack of information.
(And dont say a 'sticky' for one or two specific questions solve this, it doesn't!)
Ill give you the basics on war here though.
Set the standing for your corp versus your enemy at -10, now all your members will see their ships with orange outline around the brackets in space.
Check your own corp information under wars, do it show 'Can fight = yes' the war have started, its supposed to be 24 hours until a war begins, but also in this information is sketchy, some claim that 48 hours have to pass before the war starts.
Well if the war is active, and you have set the -10 standing, start shooting at will at everything that show orange. (Can we have the colour changed please to avoid comfusion with yellow?!?)

3. If it's orange and bigger than you: check if you got friends around or just run like hell :)

Much appreciated....Well sorted now thanks. In fact im actually enjoying this side of Eve..Certainly makes a difference to sitting in the belts mining for hrs on end!
