Edited by: Flame ALT on 20/09/2004 03:39:40 Oops! Pop star Britney Spears did it again and got married for the second time this year -- this time to dancer Kevin Federline in a low-key ceremony Saturday at a private home in Studio City, California, a record-label executive confirmed on Sunday.
"Yes, I can tell you the happy couple got married yesterday," David Frostman of Jive Records, a British spokesman for Spears, told Reuters in London. Frostman declined to provide further details.
Spears, 22, and Federline, 26, surprised their parents with the unexpected ceremony which took place about 7:30 p.m. at the home of a tailor who had custom-made the tuxedos for the groom and other men in the wedding, according to a report on the Web site of Star magazine (www.starmagazine.com).

DETAINEES at the troubled Kariong Detention Centre on the NSW Central Coast were given flat-screen TVs in each of their rooms to keep them out of trouble. Staff at the central coast facility say about 20 sets were purchased, in addition to three Xboxes for common rooms. Staff have accused management of using bribes to keep detainees under control at the expense of workers. The State Opposition has called for a special parliamentary committee hearing into operations at the centre. The Opposition's juvenile justice spokeswoman Catherine Cusack said the move had crossbench support. At least seven staff members would be called to give evidence to the hearing, which would be held as early as this week, she said. The focus of the hearing would be to counter claims by Juvenile Justice Minister Diane Beamer, who had disputed several whistleblower stories, Ms Cusack said. These included claims of a security breach after a group of pensioners wandered into the centre looking for a cafe.
"The minister has repeatedly denied the stories of the whistleblowers so we have no option but to convene a special hearing," she said.
Other claims to emerge include that a "ground maintenance" worker was given shifts supervising detainees.
Staff told The Sunday Telegraph the worker was also forced to chaperone a high-risk detainee on a visit to the dentist in an unsecured car.
They also alleged management had refused to initiate a search after a 28cm knife was reported missing from a school within the complex. The knife was found in a hole in a common-room sofa.
Staff say they are now being investigated for initiating the search without management approval.
One staffer said violence at the centre had increased since detainees had been allowed to view their case files.
Detainees would seek out those who had written negative comments to "teach them a lesson", he said.
"I've been punched, had stitches, a colleague of mine had his nose broken," he said.
"Meanwhile, management got them all flat-screen TVs.
"The current managers should be sacked because the place is out of control."

SPAMMERS ARE ******!!!!
WASHINGTON (AP) -- What would it take to get someone to turn in one of those spammers who send millions of unwanted e-mails? At least $100,000, the Federal Trade Commission figures.
Six-figure incentives are the only way to persuade people to disclose the identity of co-workers, friends and others they know are responsible for flooding online mailboxes with unsolicited pitches for prescription drugs, weight loss plans and other products, according to an agency report Thursday.
The commission said a government-funded reward system could work if the payoff was between $100,000 and $250,000 -- higher than rewards in most high-profile criminal and terrorism cases. For example, the FBI pays $50,000 for tips leading to the arrests of most of its top 10 fugitives.
The FTC, in a report requested by Congress, did not take a position on whether such a system was a good idea.
The report said any reward should come from taxpayer funds because collection of civil penalties from spammers will not be enough to finance the system, according to Allen Hile, assistant director in the agency's division of marketing practices.
"All of our cases end in a court order, but substantially fewer end up in assessment and payment of civil penalties," Hile said.
The agency said potential informants probably would be people who work with the spammers or are close enough to have knowledge of their illegal activities.
Congress asked the FTC to study the feasibility of a bounty system as part of the "can spam" legislation that went into effect in January. The law prohibits senders of spam from disguising their identity by using a false return address or misleading subject line, and it bars senders from collecting addresses from Web sites.
"Americans are being inundated with spam, and we need to keep trying different approaches until we solve the problem," said Sen. Jon Corzine, D-N.J., among those who has pressed for rewards as a way to eliminate spam. "Monetary rewards can provide a real incentive for private citizens to come forward and identify spammers."
But the idea may be premature, according to the Direct Marketing Association, the largest trade group for direct and interactive marketers.
The group believes it would be wise to give the law and law enforcement efforts more time to work before "rushing into a system like this," spokesman Louis Mastria said.
The Justice Department recently announced an Internet crime *****down that resulted in dozens of arrests and convictions on charges including the use of spam e-mail to steal credit card numbers.
The industry also has been aggressive. In March, Microsoft, America Online and others sued hundreds of people suspected of sending spam.
Associated Press reporter Ted Bridis contributed to this report.

BLINDNESS CAUSES M@STURBATION
STARTLING new scientific research reveals that blindness causes m@sturbation in both humans and animals.
The dramatic discovery was the result of years of experiments conducted by Schwill- Bryman Laboratories in Australia.
"Our theory was simple, but gathering the scientific evidence proved quite a task," says Dr. Phillipe Knutson.
"We started with a focus group of twelve people, all of whom had perfect vision, but we placed them in a pitch dark laboratory for two days. Every two hours, a doctor checked in on the subjects and consistently found them touching their private areas. We then moved on to wild animals, such as the howler monkey from Costa Rica, and the results were eerily similar."
This study has outraged many advocates for the blind. "We're not a bunch of senile Dr. Magoo's reaching for our canes everyday," says Director Thomas Pendleton.
"Besides, I don't see one incident where they actually used a blind person. Let's expose Stevie Wonder to these conditions and see what really happens."
"The results speak for themselves," retorts Dr. Knutson. "Sure, we deprived our subjects of every comfort known to both man and animal, rendering them listless and incoherent. But facts are facts, and these subjects found something to hold onto through the night."

Not that I have any vested intrest in the north. I'm sure what your saying may be true. It's just you have more credibility when posting with a main rather then an alt.
In short if you dont want folks to mock you, grow some nads.

M0o was so staggered by this wonderfull peace loving news that they promply declared war on Everlasting Vendetta.
Their main reason for doing so is still unknown but M0o officials will probably shed some light over this asap.
The war is supposed to be active today. --- Free Jade ---

This is the funniest thread about the Northern war so far! Hilarious posts people! ROFL!
Daakkon, love that pic!
Also, today on swedish radio, how degenerate youth get stuck in MMPORPG's and are forced to buy cool stuff for real money! The reporter has said it was a creepy feeling and the kids didnt trust her. She openly admitted that she knew nothing about games at all but hey... What will this do to you and me? I dont know. And who's that man over there and why is he talking like toad?
Regards, LOWA
