What is the Cerb best used for? Sniping? Roaming?

It's for anti-support and mid-range "sniping". If you try to do any actual sniping with it you'll be stuck watching things explode before your missiles get there unless you're in a really tiny gang.

Can swap the nano for damage control and the tp for extra tank. If you can get out to 50-100km though, then imo the nano and tp help the gang more than the tank.

The most common fit and use, have been illustrated in this thread. You can however fly a HAM version with very good dps, and they'll hit out in the 30's, but a bit tricky to fly. |

The only thing a cerb is "good" for is fitting with a assult launchers and killing frigs.
Every other use is passable at best and could be handled better with another ship.
The Cerberus is crap.

when the drake premiered on SISI it was better then the Cerberus by far. as it had an ROF bonus and the shield resists bonus. but it was ranked as too OP to be tech 1 basicly.
it spammed heavy missiles from T2 launchers(with BC 5) like those helicopters in vietnam did rockets. on sisi i took it against a 2mil rat in a L4 mission and pretty much ripped it apart faster then a Torp Raven could have.
Cerb is a nice ship nowdays and since it has lost its OMG i must have one luster it has come down to semi reasonable prices. since the person above me has been flying em so long he knows what they used to cost unless you had a personal supplier or where in a corp with a BP.
