Basically what the title says, I'll right click a station and click dock and then my ship will not dock after warping. (Same thing with jumping) I don't think I've really been doing anything different. It seems to happen randomly. |

I have been having this problem aswell, seems to happen consistantly when alt tabbing out of game while in warp. When i alt tab back in my ships is just sat outside station or on gate. |

^This. Seems alt-tabbing triggers it. Noticed that dock/jump works on rare occasions while alt-tabbed, though don't know why. |

not having the client active at the time is what i believe causes the problem... has happened to me a few times... in regards to not docking problem... set station as destination, activate warp, activate autopilot... |

Now it always docks or jumps...after you reactivate the window. The ship apparently just sits there until you alt+tab back. |

Having this problem quite often after patch with some nice side effect:
set up station as destination, click "dock", ship enters warp, activate autopilot... atl+tab... atl+tab back - voila! ship sitting next to destination station with AP active  |

It's an old bug, whats annoying about this is it's reported as "Fixed in: 2012 DEBBY" with little information for the customers to refer back to see how/whether the issue has been really fixed.
The fundamental flaw with the CCP's current bug reporting is you cannot re-open a case when it's tagged as "Fixed". This leads to a merry-go-round chase. Lovely broken system.

The current behaviour (per Inferno 1.0.1) is as follows :
Ship fails to dock whenever the EVE client is Alt-Tabbed out in Win XP for an indefinite period.
This occurs when you manually inititate the docking (as opposed to activating the auto-pilot).
So, what happens is the docking code is put on ice whenever the client is tabbed out.
So if you've got a ship docking, it won't actually dock until you return back to the client screen.
A good source for various shenanigans to those completely unaware of it.
I've got a good mind to open a third bug report on this with more vitriol to wake-up the people who's been assigning it as Fixed.
Let's see how this thread pans out first.

This issue is still occuring.
Ship will not dock when the client is tabbed out, (when running multiple clients)
Soon as i tab back in, docking accepted message appears and ship docks.
Occuring on all 4 of my accounts.
Edit, not related to autopilot, occurs when not using autopilot |
