As the day that EVE will supposedly go up in flames is coming ever closer, bringing with it yet again new things to look forward to, like missile effects and killreports to name a few. there is however one section in the inferno feature page that has been bugging me since the page came up. Namely the page about modules
Now I know that they have released one devblog about new modules, and they look nice. But they are a bit contradictory of what the page says.
The page I'm reffering to is not saying mutch, but the linky to it is here and I'll quote what I'm wondering about.
Quote:Now more than ever, espionage, subterfuge, and knowledge are the tools that, coupled with skill, will lead to victory.
Subterfuge and espionage might as the page say, lead to victory but in this day and age it is not exremely hard nor requiering mutch skill to get said knowlege from these acts (unless you take into account real espionage i.e planting an agent inside an enemy corp. But that again seems more or less common).
So the question remains. What might this signify? Are they looking to breathe new life into subterfuge and espionage, and in essence make them into real professions? Or maybe it is just a play on words to make the inferno expansion sound more impressive?
What do you guys think? I'm hoping for the former

That page is nothing more than PR, aka propaganda. I found it so not useful. For the modules they are proposing, check out this dev blog. The module information is about halfway down the page. |

I figured as mutch. Though one can still hope it has a hidden meaning behind it |
