...PELASE can we get some UI modification possibilities?
I have a 24 inch LCD and have the machine to run everything....from crysis to Empire:Total War.........at 1920x1200 with everything maxed out and theres no point in running less when I dont have to......then theres EVE
Yes, Eve runs at my monitors refresh of 60FPS, more if i turn of vsync.....BUT I CAN BARELY READ THE FRAKING UI
THe icons on the left hand side are so small they LITERALLY can fit inside the size of my thumbnail and text is all but IMPOSSIBLE to read without an electron microsope.
The ONLY thing I have foudn that I can change is the chat text which is great but.....how about a UI scale like..and dare i mention it...WoW has?
Also, as of my last military reserve physical, which was 3 months ago, I have 20/10 vision in my right eye and 20/15 in my left so i obviously DO NOT NEED GLASSES OR CONTACTS

They need to add bigger fonts or make the UI fully scalable.

All I want is a BLOODY GAMMA CONTROL to make the glare from backgrounds, suns and nebulae go down to something bearable!!!!

I'd love to be able to mod my UI
I would:
- prevent the overview detaching from selected item
- remove the horizontal lines on overview (mouse over provides)
- remove 'Stargate ' Info appearing in both Name and Type columns
- colorize the icons and have route markers pulsate.
- add ability to collapse and expand the overview (group by)
- have the gate I entered the system from pulsate as well, but in a grayed out version of the 'out gate' color.
- Drop all 'avatar' squares/pitcures from chat channels, just leaving names and standing icons (so its compressed)
- Lower the font size of people's names in chat channels. I rarely need to click someone's name in a hurry.
- Add a 'group by' feature to chat windows so that I can organize people by 'corp' or 'standing'
- Integrate the font / text / delay mode with the title of the window (feels clunky to me)
- Reduce all of the boarders in chat windows to thin lines
- add ability to collapse and expand the route info
- Ability to move side bar to bottom of screen
Many other things I'd love to 'tie down' or 'unstick'!

Man, I wonder if the developers who play the game actually like this UI? I mean, dont they see how riggid and unpratical it is? Its so badly designed it make my eyes bleed hardcore. Sigh. They dont seems to see the obvious thing that really need an overhaul.  |

yes. apparently everyone at CCP use a 15 inch monitor running the game at 800x600
