Ignatious Mei	Posted - 2009.06.28 17:59:00 - [1] I am trying to come up with a good solo roamer for 0.0 A lot of times there isnt a fleet running or the romaing gang is to far out to get to fairly safely. The big thing for me is that when it goes pop I don't care. I want to be able to go out and engage a large spectrum of targets. I have some quality t1 cruiser fits but they tend to be pretty fragile. So far, I found this fit on battle clinic and it's my favorite. Decent tank, deent EHP and decent DPS. Any other suggestions? Ships or fits. Unless you have an alt scout that will warm you of gate camps. anything above cruiser sized has a high chance of getting killed as soon as it get caught in a bubble camp. Ghoest	Posted - 2009.06.28 21:04:00 - [4] Solo I would go with a Cane. Passsive shield if you think you can esacape a bubble. Otherwise 1600 plate buffer tank. Wherever you went - Here you are.

The thing is that that cyclone fit gives me more or less the same damage but also give me a tank. I know it's not as important in gang PvP (as if you get primared a 400 DPS tank probably isnt going to save you) but when it comes to solo roaming a 400 DPS tank can be the difference between life and death.

You managed to be a ass twice in one post. 1. The cane fit that was posted has 50 more DPS then the cyclone fit I posted. I don't know what universe you fly in but in mine, 50 DPS in not "much more" 2. That is TOTALLY dependent on what you are fighting. In some cases you are correct, in some cases I am correct. Get caught 40k from a gate when you are fighting a rapier/huggin/ishtar and see if you would still prefer that buffer. Get caught 40k from a gate fighting a neut domi or a cruse/pilgrim and I would take the buffer fit.

This is for shooting people who will actually shoot back, and without a means to repair itself you can only really do one fight. If you do not mind losing some DPS you can drop the neutralizers and one gyro and slap on a MAR.
