I was politely asked to make a thread to this laughable failure on my part, and I thought it would be fun.
Today, I was scammed out of 250 million ISK by Lyra Sechrin, otherwise known as Djam Anaplian.
I was met in corp channel by a corp member complaining about needing a frieghter. I asked if they needed ISK to buy it. Obviously, Lyra asked for 300million ISK. I said I would think about. Eventually Lyra informed me that I need only pay 250 million, as a friend gifted 50 million for the cause. I said, "**** it, sure, why not?" So I sent the isk. Cause I'm overly nice, naive ****.
"Thank you, you've been scammed."
At least Lyra said thank you.
Well, I was told about Lyra's real history, real alt, and a thread here in C & P. And here I am now. 250 Million ISK less, a good laugh in me, and a lesson learned.
