Trajectory analysis gives "5% Bonus turret accuracy falloff".

It doesent show on guns though. So...

1 It's bugged
2 It improves something else
3 It's a visual bug on the guns

Does anyone know what it does or doesent do? QuestionConfused

1. No, the skill is not bugged.
2. It improves falloff range, nothing else.
3. Yes, relog, remount guns, or change to another ship and then change back.

I don't think a single gunnery skill actually works right away. I have had to somehow 'reload' the gun (by relogging, remounting, or switching ships) for just about every gunnery skill. So it's probably the ever persistant client side bug as always.

Same with tracking computers.

If you want to see their effect on tracking you have to do the following.
Fire off a salvo with the computer OFF
turn the computer ON
then fire another salvo
Now the info on the gun should display the correct tracking rate.

Very handy and user friendly right?

Just finished lvl 2 of trajectory analysis skill, and it looks strange..
If i had falloff distance 17 km b4, now i have it 19 km, it means what a dead range for my guns (minmatar artillery) now worse than b4.
I was expecting it will give a 5% bonus (make situation better) to falloff distance but it makes situation worse from my point of view.Sad.

Would someone explain what is happening ?

You're not understanding how turrets work in this game. Read the Tracking Guide, especially page 1 of 5 where it explains how optimal and fall off for turrets work.

Turrets don't have a minimum range with regard to optimal and fall off. They have a minimum range with regard to tracking, but that's a separate issue.

Edit: Gah! Necro! Sad

It's quite simple, you don't know what falloff means, that's all.
Hint : the larger, the better.
