I made a copy of my client as the istructions said (C:\Singulatity\EVE) and made a shortcut to it with C:\Singularity\EVE\eve.exe /server:87.237.38.50 in the target line.
I am getting this error whe I start the client. It says I am connecting to the test server, but I cannot log in. Did I do something wrong? |

If I could get on it would be my second time on the test server - always seem to have problems getting on, but I want to test a POS bug I just found on Tranquility. |

Or maybe it is this:
Apocrypha 1.3.1 will be deployed Tuesday, June 30, 2009 between 1100 and 1300 GMT, extending downtime by one hour. Please feel free to continue providing feedback regarding Apocrypha 1.3 in this thread, and discuss any issues you may find in this thread.
LOL
I guess they found the bug :) |

Tried several times today to get on after the unexpected downtime. Nothing i do helps. Tried downloading a complete new test server install, and when i start it it says incompatable release. It seems i have a newer release then currently applied on the server, even when I've just downloaded and installed a clean build from ccp.
Dosn't help to try and download a patch either, as all the patches only let's me know i have a newer release already installed. and i was having so much fun trying this test server thing.
Any idea when it will work again?

I'm getting a different story. I download the full client, make sure it's 93706 by trying to run the game. Naturally it says incompatible, so I download the 94165 patch and install it, only it fails and says "Client files don't match the files in the update. This indicates that your installation is corrupt."

http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/server_status.php is a nice overview on what is running on Sisi. The incompatible (release) means that the client you want to connect with and the server are on different code branches. You see on this site that Sisi either runs STAGING or RELEASE branch (very rarely DEV). RELEASE is the code branch for TQ meaning only the live code that is supposed to be on TQ. STAGING is the code that came over from internal development and we want public testing on Sisi.
So if like today Sisi is booted with the RELEASE code in order for us to do parts of our patch testing, then you can't connect to it with a client to which you applied a Sisi test patch, since these will be from the STAGING branch. So either wait till we put Sisi back to STAGING or just make a copy of your TQ client and use the copy to connect to Sisi.
