Probably asked before, but I was wondering if I can run one client of eve across my two monitors. I tried playing in window mode and stretching it across like all the other mmos but it just doesn't work. If anyone else knows a way to make it work please share with me.
Just felt it would be cool to further immerse myself into this game with a wider view of the stars. |

Get a second account, and play them both at once.
Srsly tho, your ship would always be in the split between the monitors. Ubersuck.

I actually set this up today - 2 accounts Two monitors one card Works perfectly but use window mode on both or the Full screen client minimizes.

you can still do it if you have the old xp nvidia drivers that support horizontal spanning, they took this out in recent drivers for xp and removed it in vista/windows 7. Its a shame because with the ability to move your hud elements this actually became a lot better.
Id still love to see eve being able to spawn separate child windows so you could drag say the map/chat box's onto another screen in their own window leaving the main game window clear to pew pew in.

Well that sucks. I can drag the eve window between the two monitors and view it that way, but it would be nice to stretch it all the way across to fill the screens
imagine playing eve in 3840x1200 across two 26 inch monitors... =( |

actually, come to think of it, anyone recognize this abaddon desktop? Someone had to have taken that in a super widened window of EVE in order for it to come out like that.

Thats a picture of someone doing just that they have several pc's running eve but screen 1a and 1b are running on 1 pc on XP with the nvidia drivers that have the horizontal split feature.
There's more talk on this very thing in this thread. http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=166627

I see talks about ultramon but one guy named Private Langvann managed to get dual screen to work somehow apparently. But I cant tell if hes a troll or a legitimate poster because he only posted once and has not posted a response to how he did it.

After looking at that image I think Ive just seen proof of the stereotypical geek living out of his parents basement. I have the sneaky suspicion that beyond the "privacy curtain" there is a washing machine and drier
