(Already petioned, no need to tell me to petition it, ok maybe bug report, but later)
So, I was in a L4 mission, with my expensively fitted maelstrom, with a corpmember. He screwed up on the aggro and made the rats go crazy, and he warped out. So I was left, engaging my warp drive, ship aligns, speed goes up.. no wait it does down. It went up and down as if I were bouncing an asteroid or something, but I didnt. I then tried to warp to other locations, still no effect. I then tried to logoffski, in the hope the ship can warp then, only to find a wreck when logging in.
Anyone knows what went wrong?
I wasnt warp scrabmled either.

Desynch probably. Client is showing nothing but server claims you are humping a rock and you know how server is always right, worse than Simon, so client didn't warp you off. Sowwie.

Corpmember owes you a Maelstrom, since you could have done the mission solo anyway.
Make him/her pay you for whatever you lost over and above the insurance. If he/she balks, have 'em kicked out of the corp, who needs "friends" like that?

No I wont, ISK lost is over a billion, he could not pay that, he is a new eve player. I awarded him with a Fool Award (Medal) and that¦s it. Ill just buy it all again. Besides it was a bug, I think.

sounds you have something wrong with your fit there. over 1 billion in ship and you could not tank full aggro in vengeance which has not even one of the biggest dps in lvl4 missions. you should be able to solo all lvl4 missions with that money in your ship tbh. im not trying to be **** but you might want to rethink for your next mission ship.

If it would be set up for tank, yes, but no it has a speed and damage focus, it usually works wonderful.

Could you have been stuck on a can or something else not on your overview? My best guess would be desync though.

Desync maybe... where there any objects near you at all? I have gotten caught on objects before that on my overview that were 5-10km away and little things that I should have been well well outside their collision box. Normally when it happened if I asked on TSP other ppl would be complaining about the server having fits in other parts of Eve so I always wrote it off to a wonky server.

Yeah it most likely was a desynch. One Question remains though, do you get reimburesed on that or just "Our Logs show nothing"?

No, you won't get reimbursed on a desync unfortunately since the problem wasn't on CCP's end (assuming that their logs show no problem with Tranquility at that time).
The client losing connection to Tranquility can be caused by many things, almost none of them CCP's fault. Desyncs happen. Lord knows I've lost enough drones to them. That being said if this happened after the deployment of the latest patches you could have a case. There were some really nasty database problems yesterday especially that needed an emergency shutdown and reboot to fix. |

My Ship got reimbursed, or so they say, the fitting screen wont load, but that should be possible to solve. For once I didnt get a "Our Logs show nothing" or "It¦s a feature not a bug" answer.
I hope the Customer support keeps it up.
