Talking about ishkur to the myrm, in small gang/solo pvp.
I'm still new so not keen on spending my precious sp on something that will fail 
Really liking the idea of instant reload with lasers, and blasters... dont appeal at all.

If you're Gallente-specced there's a lot of other ships where you need to use Blasters. While Blasters can be limiting, you'd waste a lot of time training for other gun types as you want Blasters to fly Brutix / Thorax / Ranis / Incursus / etc.
Blasters are still the best choice on a Myrm for gank fits (800+ DPS) as well.
If you really want to branch out though (I wouldn't cross-spec so soon) I suppose I'd recommend projectiles for the Myrm / Ishkur simply due to the fact that they take no cap, which allows you to more easily fit a decent active tank (if you want to do that).

Lasers on an ishkur are very good for killing jaguars and wolves, they'll just insta-pop.

Projectiles, not lasers. Drone boats are grid gimped and lasers are grid intensive. Quite the opposite for autos, and you get to save cap. For Ishkur I'd stick to blasters and nos/nuets but Myrm and Ishtar I run with acs often. Mostly because the Myrm has no gun bonus and the Ishtar can't really make a decent fit with med hybrids.

Alright thanks, pretty much what i was hoping to find out, i guess t2 med projectiles can be my goal for now. And i can always get an alt for the pretty lazors.

Vexor with small T2 lasers and scorch ammo can take full advantage of its range advantage with drones.
