I have just been taking to some other eve players and about what the next major add on will be after shiva.
A common thing which people seem to think lacks in eve is the ability to walk around anywhere. (this has no doubt been said before but I haven't looked here for a while)
Another thing is that you can't land on planets.
So how about if some stations had areas you could walk around, expore and interact with other players and some planets had star ports you could dock at and walk about on a bit too. In secure space walking about is pretty much all you can do but on planets in 0.0 maby it would be possible to attack each other.
I imagine that this being possible everywhere would require loads more servers and be a total nightmare to do, but if there were only, say 100 planets you could do it on, and they were shown on the map, maby it would be possible?
Would also be really neat if there was some sort of landing sequence you could watch to add some depth to it.
Dunno what others thoughts on it are but I think that if something like this was added to the game it would be just about all anyone could ever want from a mmorpg  |

agree. well not totally everything we would want from a mmorpg, but pretty close ;)
