Do NPC's see u when u r cloaked (i dont think so, but i wanna be sure) ?
Is a cloaking device on say, an apoc, possible (I need this confirmed)?
The description (for the cover ops cloak) says : Although it could theoreticaly work on other ships its spatial distortion field is so unstable that trying to compensate for its fluctuations would overwhelm even the largest standard ship computers.
If so, can ALL cloaks be used on any ship (with the requirements filled) ?
Anybody know when tech2 ammo is coming out (i havent seen anyone mention this yet)?

1. They do not.
2. Yes, Proto and Next step up works on apoc, not covert ops though. Too much juice needed.
3. Covert ops cloaks only work on Covert ops frigs at present. Who knows about the future.
4. No clue about tech II ammo. Try checking the dev blogs.

The covert ops cloaking device takes 5000 cpu to fit. Soooo theorhetically if you get get 5000 cpu on your apoc, then there you go. Covert ops ships have the special ability of reducing cpu cost for cloaking devices dramatically for each level of covert ops, sort of like industrial ships get 5% more cargo for each skill level.

OH OH, i have a question while we're at it.
If you are detected by an NPC who is targetting you, can you cloak and have the NPC's say..."where'd he go?"
I doubt it, but i still want to ask, as I never have tried it.

The cloak doesnt use cap. You can stay cloaked forever. (Or untill some stumbles too close). |

ok, I started a thread because the info came up that the special ships have the same cargo as the ship they are based on.
