What makes you think the NC will help you? I suppose they give a s*** about you and your former region. If you really believe the NC wants to claim southern space then you have been fooled by Molle's and ET's stories. They only told you this to claim the high-ends in the regions which you secured for them.
Did I at any one point state that the NC was interested in claiming sov down there?
Could have just been a prety good staging point to hit atlas from both sides thats all. Its out in the open now so meh.

You're sitting right next to Curse, if they wanted to attack ATLAS space it's easy enough to do from there without docking rights in Immensea.

I heard it makes a great staging area..
Really? The NC did not want Querrious when offered. Why the hell anyone in the NC would want Immensea?
True, when some of the NC bask in the riches of Geminate and Vale, why would they possibly want more?

When a member of RZR, MM, or TCF refers to the NC, they usually just mean those 3 alliances. They'll occasionally save MH from sucking utterly and are friends with WI, but for better or worse those 3 ARE the NC. Anyone that has been in the north and not part of those 3 is very aware of the difference. I don't know that they are wrong though, as there is a noticeable difference in quality between those 3 and the rest of the northern alliances.

When PL jumped in a bait of a dozen caps a few days ago, the response fleet had not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR different fleet commanders. 1 fleet, 4 different people shouting contradictory orders on teamspeak. Obviously the results were not very impressive with a bunch of Aggro ships dead and not 1 PL ship killed.
Lies we got one zealot.

To reveal some facts: when the whole **** started in Immensea, atlas ppl told us that the reason of the standingreset was a quarreling between alli ceos. But thats bull****. Suddenly after the reset exBoB corps / like finfleet or dice / appeared in the atlas gangs that were hunting our evacuating ships. A mistake? No! The whole thing was arranged long time ago, they just waited to erase RED, and let us kill unl and plant a new outpost in Immensea, to reach the cap.sov.
So the disbanding of the bob was confusing? That was the same movement. The only different thing between goon and these chicks is their alliance ticker.
I do hope that one day NC will erase them. Will be a pleasure for me.

Posting to say that Atlas is and remains an inherent joke and punchline. You simply say "Atlas!" and then you laugh. You can try your own variations on punctuation-- I find "Atlas?" to be pretty funny as one might interpret it as someone's disbelieve in the idea that Atlas was the answer to any question or solution to any problem.
It can become a tricky, tricky business.
E.g., what's the new powerhouse of the South who acts like it hates being competent, relevant, or even mouth-breathingly polite?
A) Atlas! (an enthusiastic celebration of their sad clown uselessness)
B) Atlas? (a frank and accurate assessment of the extent to which they typify those seemingly* undesirable characteristics)
*It could be that Atlas is cultivating a comedic and homely image of itself to lure everyone into complacence-- just like in Machiavelli's Trojan Horse of Montezuma's Art of Space War:
Step 1. set the trap - lure your enemies into a wearied stupor by acting as though you were an empty-headed simpleton.
Step 2. stand next to the trap like you forgot what you were doing - unfocus your eyes and just let your mouth hang open, save to spew asininity to your enemies.
Step 3. SPRING THE TRAP - confidently claim that you're willing, able, and intend to achieve something important or relevant (make sure you know that the something actually is these things).
Step 4. Hahahaha - your territory is annexed as part of New Bonertown with the provisional governor Nate. Hammertown. and you have to evacuate your assets under a constant slapping barrage of Bonertown's big swinging major export, without which we couldn't **** the Hammer.

It becomes even funnier when you use prefixes.. like 'Bobby' + ' Atlas' Bobby Atlas?
or maybe we should just call him dribble. I don't know why.. he makes me think of that little dribble if you don't shake enough.

i feel like correcting my alliance mate here. Last I checked goons never backstabbed their closest allies in some ridiculous powergrab for the most useless region in the neighborhood.
Oh, yeah and I am bitter. You get that way when you spend hours sieging POSs 40 jumps away from your homebase for Bobby "The D*che" Atlas and getting yourself involved in wars for no reason than to satisfy some 15 year old basement dweller's ego.
