Role: Solo and small gang PvP
High: 220mm Vulcan Autocannon II (x7) plus one of the following: Medium Nos II / Med. Neut. / Cloak / Rapid Deployment Warefare Link
Med: 10mn Micro warp II, warp disruptor II Lg. Shield Ext. II (x3)
Low: Damage Control II, Shield Power relay II (x4)
Drones: 4 medium ECM or Combat
Rigs: Core defense Field Purger I (x2)
Stats (with skills): Gives 15077 shield hp with 224s recharge rate. 60-ish % shield resists across the board.
I used to use this over a year ago before I left the game. At that time I could tank sentry guns indef. Now back, I would like to know, given any changes, if this is still a viable pvp setup. Any input and suggestions are appreciated as long as it relates to the Sleipnir.
Thanks

rubbish dps at best, and why not use the freaking shield boost bonus? if not u might as well be in a drake that will do the passive tank a whole lot better

It gives about 394dps passive tank, if that is what you mean. It might not work so well in PVP due to the very low cap recharge rate though. ________________________________________________ For changes to Minmatar Battleships click here (also with a review of the Muninn!) |

change the 4 lows to gyros, the utility high to a medium neut, change rigs to extenders/resist, and it is very viable and use 8 warriors
you may want to change an lse to an invuln and upgrade to 425s

your spelling, I fixed it for you
you do need cap to run that mwd and disruptor, however

Im using the argument alot of people use when it comes to the point arguing about ac's/arty being completely out of line from other weapon systems.

Nonetheless, his point is viable. That MWD is going to be a short, one trick pony on a ship with 4 SPR IIs. My drake was barely cap stable with 3 hardeners when running 3 SPR IIs. With autocannons you're going to need constant control of range, which means running that mwd a lot. ---------------------- Dzil's Corp Sales - 200m for 7+ standings ---------------------- |

Your DPS isn't that great, I have always been of the opinion "kill the sucker fast", and I have never liked passive Sleipnirs. Because of those reasons I wouldn't use it solo. In gangs it might not be that bad.
If you want something passive with the same DPS (and a lot cheaper) just fit out a Drake. ************************************************* I have three characters. One has Cov Ops V along with all the bells and whistles that goes with it. |
