Khul Drukath Maelstrom Crew	Posted - 2009.07.06 07:31:00 - [1] Who are we? Maelstrom Crew are a small dedicated group of mercenaries. Founded in August 2006 we started taking jobs in the Minmatar and Ammatar regions, but grew to become one of the most established independent mercenary forces in Eve. We retired from active mercenary duty last year, suffering from extreme burn out, which led to several of us taking a break from the game last summer. We reformed again a few weks ago and set about planning for our comeback. We hired some new faces to give us some fresh blood, and some old members have rejoined as well. We're small but we are experienced, having successfully completed 106 contracts. However maybe we're best remembered for our whale-love advert in the Eve Alliance Tournament! Our past The core of the corp is formed from members who are extremely experienced in merceanry life. We have been responsible for the demise of several alliances, beaten other mercs at their own game, and kept scores of customers happy. We're abviously a lot less powerful than we were at the height of our achievements, but I thought to lay down a couple of links about our history just to show our potential: Contract Details August 2006 - August 2007 This link has some greater detailed contract history. This shows the emergence of the corporation from our humble foundations to taking on large scale contracts. Old Killboard In order to not allow our old stats to have clients potentially over-rate us in terms of performance we have set up a new killboard that only includes more recent kills. Therefore the bulk of our contract history remains on our old killboard. Old Contract History The main thing from the old killboard is a list of our public contract history to demonstrate our experience within this tough profession. Although there are no guarantees we can reach these levels again, this shows that we are not new to this line of work. The future We're back in business this week, starting with a 1 week contract against Guntact Inc that will begin tomorrow. After this we are available to take on new contracts. At this time whilst we are getting re-established and gaining members we will only be looking into taking on smaller contracts that we are confident we can provide value for money to our clients. We have new forums and killboard. Feel free to contact us on the forums, contact myself either via Evemail or convo. We also have a public channel MCREW-PUB which you can drop into to find someone to talk to. Our official diplomat is Admiral R1mmer (note the '1') if you wish to arrange standings or contact us about other matters. We are also listed on the MERC Contracts in-game channel, so you can also find us in there if you prefer to talk to a wider range of mercenaries in order to find the corp that is right for you. Services and Fees* We undertake a range of services, but many of these will be restricted whilst we grow. The only service we definitely will not accept is assassination contracts against individuals - you are better off finding a bounty hunter. For a typical wardec service we would tailor a package to you that would typically involve a service fee and a kill bonus. However we are available for one off specific contracts (we once escorted 2 freighters for 25 jumps through 0.0). We're not interested in just taking your money, so we will work to provide a service and a fee structure that you are happy with. For more info see my bio!

At the moment we're taking a training week or 2 off of contracts to tidy up all of our in-house processes so that we can kick off a long series of contracts for the rest of the summer. The new crew is mostly made up of the old crew (although many of them have gone on to join PL!), but we have had some really good new guys join as well, and just yesterday we acquired a little more bang in the corp! A big hello to Kasken as well you dirty dirty bastard! Come to lowsec - I still owe you some Barrage M (to the face) We are under contract for the next 3 weeks so any new ones will have to start after that. We are also dropping the discount to 25% for any new quotes.
