I was so close to quitting the game as well as several of my friends a couple of weeks back, but I can now say that we are all staying and enjoying the game much more. Thanks so much for implementing the new security status system. Although it's difficult to go up in rankings, it's more than worth it with a the griefers running away with their tails between their legs.
The pirates still roam the lower security sectors, but with the new system, it's much harder for them to grow compared to law abiding citizens. Moving griefer corporation members such as in Moo is a fine idea by me. The only people that suffer are the handful of people that are trying to ruin the game for the majority of us. I don't have to worry about the gms messing with my account, because I don't kill people senselessly. Plus now with the problem more under control, they can worry about making other improvements in the game.
If I get killed by a pirate now, I won't be that upset, because I know that it's a fairer fight these days. It's funny that the few pirates out there are trying their best to launch a campaign to make them seem sympathetic, but we have seen what they will do when they aren't kept in check.
A lot of people whine, but I'm here to say thanks to CCP for their great work. More can still be done to make life miserable for pirates or anyone else who tries to ruin the game, but I just want to give some positive feedback, and let you know that you have gained several paying members because of your continued fine efforts. Thanks!

It's easy to complain about the bad things gaming companies do, but when they do something right, they should be commended. Look at all the other games out there that have so many problems. This game is great. You don't need to level grind, there is a ton of space to explore. High and low level players can play together. And when a problem arises like kids trying to ruin the game, they deal with that harshly. Not many games can say the same.

It's easy to complain about the bad things gaming companies do, but when they do something right, they should be commended. Look at all the other games out there that have so many problems. This game is great. You don't need to level grind, there is a ton of space to explore. High and low level players can play together. And when a problem arises like kids trying to ruin the game, they deal with that harshly. Not many games can say the same.

ccp are great yes, but a thread by carebears bashing pirates isnt. pirates are a needed part of the game here people.

But yea neways, just today I reccomended a guy who works next door to me to try out Eve Online, he asked me about it because every time he dropped in where I work I was always playing it ^.^
