missions should be more fun, this can simply be done by introducing special things in them i don't like if in the middle of the mission a big asteroid comes and smashes everything if you don't help people inside with a hauler or in case of a combat mission let's say that you get the task to attack a big fleet so the agent tells you to command a small fleet which could be controlled the same as drones, it can be made of some cruisers or frigs and it will depend on you on how you use each ship for each task like getting another frig or ganking a big ship, they will get attacked as well and can have commands such as attack in which they will apporach and stay at optimal range or approach something follow or maybe even warp out/in they can be encountered in the mission and then the enemy can appear, and get some emotion into it like making it too hard and on the last moment a friendly fleet arrives to save you, those type of missions would really make people enjoy them and not just do them cause they need the money, there are no limits to where the missions can get and i know that part of eve is cooperating between people but most people do at least 80% of their missions alone so i guess this is a great idea that consists in involving a bit more the player with the enviornment and the objective of the mission, few times people read the description of the mission i mean what the agent tells you like there is an outpost that was set up by .... it has a real potential hope you guys actually exploit it. I know there are problems but you will be able to get through it =D

I summed it up but it still needs work. TL;DR= He wants missions were you command small fleets of NPCs with possible triggers for them to lose heart and warp out when they go through tough part, And the ability to warp back in when they are scripted to.
IMO its good idea and would add more realism and not have to depend on others so much for missioning. And it would take tactics to order each ship to fight certain types IMO like dont send a BC to fight a group of BS`s but have ur frig wolfpack attack a lone BS and shredd it up It would also get guys good with fleet command...And it would make command missions live up to there name.
I think great idea but next time use paragraphs and periods...Maybe even a Semi-Colon and please dit so peeps can read this and comment as it needs to be seen by ccp.
But im for it

TL;DR The funny thing about this sentence is that by the time you've finished reading it, it's too late for you to realise it doesn't say anything. |

Thanks for the short version, Lastrites.
OP: We don't need npc "mercs" to hire. This is a mmo and not X3. Go get some friends and do your missions with them.
Or even better - do some PvP with said friends. That's when your friendly fleet arrives and saves the day (or not).

yes i know im in fact in a pirate corp and we get around 10-15 kills per day but you don't get as much isk and it's simply and idea to make missions better i mean all noobs are not going to just get a rifter and go PVP and they Don't have friends at least in first 2 weeks, and if you havn't noticed how many people play alone this game? it's simpy, to make the game better it's like if you say don't improve the manufacturing process just because you don't manufacture anything.
