I know it sounds like a little bit of an oxymoron but pls bear with me for a second.
Example:
Agent X asks you to locate and destroy pilot Y (pirate, FW opponent, or see below*) and receive Z amount of money/LPs. Bonus payment if you get the pod. Same corp locator agents are free to use as far as the target is concerned. Mission has no expiry date and in the unlikely chance that the target is biomassed you are considered successful.
(or to put it simply you get indefinite killing rights on the target)
* This could get even better if for example player A has kill rights on player B, player A can ask&pay an agent (standing check) to take care of it -> above mission is generated for someone willing to take it. This also may fix the current broken ransom mechanic and finally make bounty hunting a profession.
(or to puy it simply killiing rights become transferable)

Example: 100 player at the Milita area geting the PvP Mission to kill YOU, and you get killed and poded 100 times ! How do you feel ?
There will be never any kill player mission.

It worked on SWG, if SOE can do it certainly CCP can....
on SWG a mission to kill a specific player could only be up one at a time, so it would be impossible for 100 people to have a mission to pk you. Easy to implement.

Never did the FW thingy, but don't you already have indefinite killing rights on the opposing side?

Holy ****, that's actually not a bad idea. That would definitely fix the ransom mechanic, and i would love to see carebears able to essentially put out hit contracts for pirates, within the mission system (and i'm speaking as a pirate, not a mission runner). And yeah, it would make sense for an FW mission agent to give a mission to kill one of the top pvpers for the opposing faction. Would need major balancing and development, but i would love to see it implemented.

This is a great idea, but it needs expanding. You could in theory, give the same mission to opposing players, with opposing objectives. Mission parameters are to rendezvous at a random dead space co-ordinate at a specific time, whereupon a jump gate will open up and allow (or restrict) you to enter the mission area. The opposing mission runner will be sent to a different co-ordinate to be jumped into the mission area.
This could be expanded into multi-player missions, or even arena style combat.
