No idea. But you can definitely fly battleships back and forth through it until it closes.

What's the "inside" of a Wormhole anyways?
Is that like the "inside" of a Stargate?
W-systems are like K-systems.. they are just not connected by Stargates, but by WHs instead. So, your Question doesn't make sense in daylight..
@OP: no, you can't damage a Wormhole by shooting at it..

Heard someone wanted to shoot some tachyon beams at a wormhole, though I don't know what happened because he disconnected and hasn't logged back in since then.

I only ask this cause I heard something about "scorching" a wormhole with smartbombs. Only thing is I can't seem to get a strait answer regarding this subject.
Perhaps Ill just have to go and test it.

Ah, smartbombs. Amusingly you can't set them off withing range of a wormhole.

Worm holes close after enough mass has passed through it. A capital ship is by far the most efficent way of "scorching" a wormhole.

You can lock and shoot them, but they take 0.0 damage.
Amusingly, it still tells you how well you shoot them ( slightly, aimed well, etc ).
Only way to make them go away is to close them by exceeding their mass limit.

They actually do, since they hire the Sleepers to do it for them, then close when the prober dies.

you can get inside a wormhole, a worm hole is two points of space connected together there is no inside. if you shoot off smart bombs at the event horizon that will close it.

It's mainly a boredom thing. When humans get bored they start looking for things to make extinct, because nothing says "I've accomplished something today!" quite like eliminating something from existance. Well baking a cake does, but more for the flour then for the baker. The icing of course is the ******* of the bakery because it takes credit, even though it shows up right after all the hard work is done. This is one of many ways that people and icing are similar (taste is another one).
