I do nothing but read the forums while at work on my phone. Was planning on going industrial but after all the reading it looks way more fun to get out and make things go boom. I had some help from some players in my current corporation tellin me to train all learning skills first and respec my attributes to train those fast before respecing again for what i want to do. Are there many pirate corps that recruit new players. I was planning on doing industry but this looks like more fun. Is there any need in pirate corporations for a manufacturer. What race ship should i go for. I started gallente but don't know what would be good and figured i should find out now before its to late

dont respec attributes yet, you can only do it once a year.... and you can play about with all the races frigs without spreading skills too far... see what you like and read up on setups a lot...
just try some 1v1's or piracy in frigs while its cheap for you to lose cheap ships and pods... then get an idea of what you like/ dislike.

Chars created after apocrypha actually start with 2 respecs. So go for it. As for races, try them out with small cheap ships and just go for what you like. They all have good ships in each class, except minmatar battleships.

New players actually get 2 free respecs before they have to wait the year.

New chars get 2 Respecs.
Only train learning if you are going to give the game a good go.

I have already respeced for learning and have been doing so since start from advice. I'm just about 700k skill points i think and all learning. What should i train with mem maxed and int the other most before respecing again. Was told might be good idea to train mechanic and energy skills with current attributes before respecing again. So i was thinking using the que to train most ele eng and mech skills at least to 2 or 3 before respecing and then train for my weapons and ship?

We have a quota on constructive thread to meet. Once a month, no exceptions!
Train at least electronics, engineering, energy management, energy systems operation, hull upgrades, and mechanic to 5. There's probably other ones but those are just off the top of my head.

Well whats good for a noob to start pirating in from more reading it looks like i would be best in a fast target disrupting ship with tracking speed script if i stand a chance. Would i have any possible kills solo at this point

Not to try and dissuade you but there's two things you should know about piracy: 1) You cannot do it as a solo noob. While technically possible, your targets are so limited that it's hardly worth the effort. As a solo veteran your potential target list is bigger but noob pilots cannot solo very many things. Groups of noobs can do quite well, though. 5 noobs in Rifters have a very high chance of killing a solo battlecruiser without needing any sort of fancy or expensive gear.
2) For every video and tale of an awesome battle that was a lot of fun, there are 6 hours of flying through space wishing you could find someone to kill. Maybe militias and war declarations can give you more action but that's not "piracy". Actual, literal piracy is 1/20th action and 19/20ths preparation and hunting.
But yes, pirate corps can also use miners and manufacturers. I'm in a noob pirate corp and we build our own ships. We use the proceeds from our kills (selling off T2 equipment) to fund purchases of blueprints and other needed materials and we occasionally go mining. Odds are any corp you join will already be taking care of this on their own but they might enjoy having another industrial player who actually likes mining (we mine and haul as little as possible because none of us likes it that much, but you really don't have to do much to fund fleets of T1 frigates, destroyers and cruisers, which is all you really need to go pirating).
If you still feel like being a pirate, try to find a pirate corp that will accept newbies. This may be impossible because EVE corps tend to be paranoid and not noob-friendly (for good reason) but I don't really know what's out there in terms of pirate corp recruiting. Just don't think it's a life of "yarr". Honestly, industry is more profitable. Pirates make money but 80% or more of the value of the target is lost when it blows up.
