Perhaps but op can be read as they pulled the plug because there was a "problem". No mention of a crash.

1stly stop the spam secondly
The server crashed and made my client auto switch to window mode the closed and now when i try to run the game it i cant see the log on screen as if minimized so i cannot log in.
Second problem is Ive tried to post about this from my main " cragz " but the forum is telling me that i dont have a char on that account and must log into game and make one omg i cant bare this i cant log onto game and char has mysteriously disseared. 3 yrs old my char is .
Damn damn damn it.

Normally I'd agree but there was a HUGE login queue a few minutes before it went down so I'm going with the "uhoh" thing rather than the "damage control" one.

(All I got was gate traffic notifications, nothing about early server shutdown...)

It's totally clear it crashed. For here it was round about 10 minutes earlier, so crash @ 09:50.
Now we got the DT from 10:00 to 11:00. This sounds like a nice offer to expedite it from 11:00 to 12:00 but it smells fishy. Because of the crash I would love to hear a more clear statement right now wether or not that one little hour is enough time to fix things.
Even with the 60 minutes of the "sheduled" DT timeframe, this is a 70 minute unavailability at least. But I'm pretty shure this will take longer because the communication is - to say at least - only talking about what everybody playing realized: the server is down.
So there my assumption is 190 minutes down today. But I'm only playing eve for about 2 years or so, it might be interesting what other players are assuming how long the servers will be offline today. Let's keep the wording: How long the extended Downtime today will be.

Another piece of Info: Market transaction could not be refreshed for a longer time today. Afaik it was since about 08:00. Pretty looks like Devs could add some more info here to clarify things.

Ok time for bets
I bet 10 million isk ITS not up by normal downtime and lasts...At least 10 minutes past.. IM betting CCP this if i lose a GM can take it out of my wallet.
MUST have proof it was up when it should be.
WILL they take that bet HMMM!!!

I'm just glad CCP thinks they can fix it so quickly. You'd think with the decreased frequency of crashes over the years they'd be getting rusty at fixing the system. ;)
