When I try to skill 2 chars at once on an account I get a popup that flat out tells me only 1 char per account can be trained at once. Why can't we have a more immersive explanation?

During 15 years of my MMO experience EVE is the only game there I paid for more than one account. This slow one-character-at-a-time skill system must be very profitable for CCP. If you could train multiple alts within one account at the same time, you'd get a 3 for 1 deal. I'm sure CCP would love that. Compared to other MMOs that use XP to level up while playing any one character at a time, EVE is not imposing a hardship. It's the same thing but done in a different way. I suppose one way to get around it is to allow multiple alts in the same account to skillqueue but add a penalty: 1 alt skilling = regular rate 2 alts skilling = half the speed for each. 3 alts skilling = a third the speed for each. I'm not sure if this is even doable, I'm just tossing it out there. Personally if I wanted multiple skilling, I'd buy multiple subscriptions...makes sense to me!
