There is a new Windows tool available that makes it a breeze to plan routes when not in-game and search the eve universe for your closest systems, stations and agents that match given criteria so no more hunting for your closest lvl3 R&D agent :-)
Check it out at:

Nice tool... Little concerned over the sending a code for registering however. --------
FireFoxx80: If you think you can do a better job, go find yourself a datacentre to host a box, get a copy of Visual Studio, and STFU. |

I understand your concerns - it's just some text you paste into an eve-mail though so there are no security issues.
If you can live without the agent search there is no need to register.

one thing i can see already: no Minimize button. very bad, especially for us Work Users. but, even being at home i like the option to minimize apps and not just leave them in Desktop Limbo...

another thing i noticed (concerning the Agent lookup), is that the Data window (the spreadsheety thing in upper-right) when you setup a query for an agent and then click the Search button... you get the Registration prompt... i notice that the Data Window will change it's column heading to match the (potential) agent date. it lists a bunch of Agenty stuff; Division, Quality, blah blah... well, if you do a Find Route, that Data Window does not change the column headers. they stay in the Agent Mode... this occurs with only two criteria (start and end) as well as mulitple stop routes...

Amazing tool. What did you use for the data? I'm curious because last time I checked http://myeve.eve-online.com/downloadables/EVE_map_tables.xls it had some serious flaws. This was even after it was uptaded in august.

I take that back. The current excel sheet is completly different from the one I downloaded in augest.
Now I need to rebuild my db.
