I just started a ingame chat channel named 'Mining Social Club'
The channel is there as a place for all miners to talk to other miners in a attempt to keep the "rock madness" away.
Talk about tips, fittings, locations or just about the lack of weather in space. All is welcome.
When you think the veldpar is watching you, its time to join Mining Social Club! |

The thing with corps is that they might be small and nobody might be on.
I'm trying to make a channel thats open for all miners, no matter the timezone and corp they are in. |

This is awesome. I am there. Tho don't mind me if I stop chatting.. maybe afk with rl family maybe coding eve related applications no one uses. I like to mine and code! And eve is great for allowing such a play style. Griefers and all.
I have chats accumulated from former corp I been in, recruiting for current corp, cureent corp etc. And even manged good local convo.
But I lived thru wars and aliance nonsence and as a result have no more isk now than I had a year ago and don't expext this to ever change. For those miners who do not want to subject themselved to forced pvp and and smack talk by combat types in their spare time from their own alliance (maybe due to having actual jobs and childern and less time for nonsence than I have) your channel is a brilliant idea... I joined 2 alliances in search of a chat while mining channel and they both became pvp intel only quickly.
Also I know of one miner at who does not join a corp because he likes to smack talk on forums and blogs and gets decs for what he says. he uses a channel to talk with other likeminded individuals without forming a vulnerable to attack corp or curbing his oppinions.
What rocks are the most isk per hour to mine? Which of your mission loot is worth more refined than sold? What blue prints make the most proffit? Answers: https://eve-industrialist.com/ Never sell an item for less than its mineral costs again! |

Wait... were you in my corp under a different character when I went through that phase? Ur main isn't mike azariah by any chance?

It plots against me, you see. Which is why I have to break it up into little chunks and scatter it across the known universe, before it gathers into a really big roid and crushs me. |

Do you have anything against possible recruitment discussions?
While it's highly unlikely I'd actively do it in channel (it's not my style), certainly not out of the question...

Just keep it at a resonable level. No spamming teqruitment adds every 5 minutes.
Ask once(a day or so). If someone is interested, take it to a private chat. |
