Figured I'd post the OP, so that certain MD figures can't go sniping the last word and locking their own threads in disgust.
Here's the past month in fast forward:
Episide II First we hear this:
In an attempt to garner 25 billion in public funds, Skilz very clearly states he has no outstanding debts. Further, within this offering we have an onslaught of personal friends with no real investment from the MD regulars.
Then, we get a few interesting cats this guy , who's last post was an attempt to buy into this, and This guy, same thing.
This guy who's first posts were attempts to buy into this and are now attempting to establish reputations as investors by placing smaller bets in other offerings.
There's an awkward period where someone attempts to derail the IPO by threatening to blow up the POS and discredit Murdd, but she makes herself look like a complete tool in doing so. Possible reverse psychology ploy, possibly just a random internet troll who, coincidentally has not posted again since that IPO.
The thread then takes a sharp dive off the cliff when Hexxx rolls in and says don't touch this, but in respect for skilz opts not to share why. Skilz refunds all the money (mostly his friends and alts anyways).
Episode III Then, in a moment of throwing rocks in a glass house, this happens: pretty much Skilz owes Ebank money. Lots of money. And while we can see from the sell forums skilz is trying to liquidate and pay this back, his response to this claim is to continue to try and throw mud on others. The thread gets very confused over who they are supposed to villify: Skilz for defaulting a loan? Ricdic for posing as a white knight after walking with 200B? Ebank just for having too much money to keep track of? Waffles for being the mortal enemy of pancakes (unknowingly sharing the same father?) The scene closes in a familiar post from CCP, that the OP couldn't stand the heat.
Episode IV:
Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie? Colonel Sandurz: You're looking at now, sir. Everything that happens now is happening now. Dark Helmet: What happened to then? Colonel Sandurz: We passed then. Dark Helmet: When? Colonel Sandurz: Just now. We're at now now. Dark Helmet: Go back to then. Colonel Sandurz: When? Dark Helmet: Now! Colonel Sandurz: Now? Dark Helmet: Now! Colonel Sandurz: I can't. Dark Helmet: Why? Colonel Sandurz: We missed it. Dark Helmet: When? Colonel Sandurz: Just now. Dark Helmet: When will then be now? Colonel Sandurz: Soon.
Just one question, when's the next IPO/bond? I want to make sure I buy enough popcorn before it sells out.

I suppose now is as good a time as any.
I will be launching a Tech 3 Syrup Production IPO. For this I am requesting TEN BILLION ISKs.
I have already purchased the maple trees and a plot of land in the Northeastern US/Southeastern Canada with a barn that is ideal for syrup production. I can't get more specific on the whereabouts to prevent any attempts to disrupt my activities.
I plan to repay 40% dividends every month for FIVE YEARS, and free syrup for the first ten investors. Shares will be sold at one million apiece and there is a limit of twenty shares each!!

Reserving 20 shares, pending audit. I'd like to confirm that you have the proper Advanced Orchard Management and Syrup Production Efficiency skill levels.
Althought strawberries are getting some hot press currently, I still think that maple syrup is a solid long-term investment. -----------------------------------------------

Daeva... we need to talk... seriously!!!
I just purchased 2 large wheat farms in Nebraska and invested in a grain elevator with good rail access. Maybe we should consider a vertical production POS for... you guessed it... waffles!!!
All we need is 100-b for a new mill.

Strawberries are on the Top 15 list of High T2 Pesticide Use. With the next patch there will be nerfs to T2 Pesticides. This comes from a Trusted Source.
Maple Syrup is where it's at. Blueberries and Peaches might also be a solid investment as well, with the resurgence of original blueprints. I personally believe a number of lapsed accounts have been re-activated. I've seen a number of friends coming back lately...
I'll get working on that audit.
