Working in the direction of prividing more payment options to players, CCP has started a new version of the Game Time Card called the EVE Time Code. Instead of having a GT card shipped to you, an ETC will be e-mailed to you for instant use. There is also a tracking page available to show ETCs you have used in the past or ETCs that you have purchased and not used.
The ETCs can also be utilized to pay for the accounts of friends, family, etc. Once you purchase an ETC, you can mail that code to someone else for them to enter into their account management page.
Finally, there are going to be additional payment options in coming months. We have been looking at alternative forms of payment acceptance and there are more in the works. You can read about this in Hellmar's Dev Blog.

This is most excellent news indeed. Thank you for your devotion to this issue, and this will hopefully make many players' lives much easier. 
This makes getting my game-time much easier now, even if I still have to have a friend order it cor me with a Credit Card; yes this means I found someone to assist me, although I still don't like it.

This is most excellent news indeed. Thank you for your devotion to this issue, and this will hopefully make many players' lives much easier.
This makes getting my game-time much easier now, even if I still have to have a friend order it cor me with a Credit Card; yes this means I found someone to assist me, although I still don't like it.

Great move guys.
As someone who has just received a Game Time Card for the first time I can certainly appreciate not having to wait 2 weeks for a pretty piece of carboard to show up. Also the ability of being able to just copy and paste the code instead of typing it is almost as good as the improved speed of delivery :)
