A Cerberus can handle most if not all L4's if flown by a competent pilot.... You'll need to kill webbers FAST though as if you slow down, you'll probably die...
It'll be very slow at it though since it doesn't have the DPS to kill fast.

You definitely CAN do it. Question is; why would you want to? Drake, Nighthawk and Raven are all better alternatives.

I agree Raven/CNR is definitely better and faster because of the DPS but the drake and nighthawk are really no better for missions than cerberus (except their tanks). Drake is actually worse because..
Cerberus can effectively use Heavy Assaults, because of the enormous range bonus (around 50km range). While it does have less launchers, the extra DPS of the Heavy Assaults more than makes up for it.
A HAM fitted cerberus does about 30% more DPS than a Heavy fitted drake, and about the same as a heavy fitted Nighthawk.
Of course the big downside to the cerb is the lack of drones, with so many frigates in missions. Heavy Assaults are pretty good against frigs, but still not as good as drones.

ive used a cerberus for missions before i liked it i had a AB and dang high resists. w/ a medium t2 booster or you can use a small deadspace booster. orbited at 50km missiles were consistant and was just a nasty ship. i prefer ishtar now XP

It will work, but I can cut down a tree with a hatchet too.
use a battleship for level 4s, use a chainsaw for cutting down trees.

For L4s I rotate between a NH (if I'm not confident in the mission, but the tank will never break) and a highly ganky sentry Domi (military experts are calling it "LoLDPS").
However, I have two PVE Cerbs: AML and HM and swap them out as appropriate between grinding L2s and grinding L3s. They certainly kick the **** out of any other possibilities for those brackets (though I haven't tried a Phantasm; that might be better situationally). Oh, and note that the AML Cerb is occasionally better even on L3s.
But figure something else out for L4s. I do suggest a NH though.

yes the Cerb can do lvl 4 missions quite easily and quickly, IF you have the skills for it.
but as everyone said, Raven or other BS's will be easier, since you can hit lvl 4's much quicker ( in skill time )
