So with Windows 7 comming out do the gods of EVE know if everything will run smoothly on the OS and will there be a 64 bit version of EVE in the future to give us better graphics?

I think you might not have a grasp on the relationship between 64-bit operating systems and graphics quality.
(Hint: There isn't one.)
My experience has been that Eve runs fine on Windows 7. ---- Suddenly Ninjas Blog: My Loot, Your Tears

From the W7 beta I have had its ok. However the drivers for graphics cards and sound cards are not great. They are better than vista driver when they first came out.
Also with any new OS there will be alot of bugs and there will be changes before we get the full version.
Microsoft History of OS have teachs us all to wait. My advice buy the disk on the cheap now wait 6 months then install it. Your then have a working product. Look at vista it really didn't live up to the hype.

I switched over from Vista the day the Win7 RC came out, and I have had zero problems, driver or otherwise.

Only problem has been some programs have small issues. Like renders being off by a small amount. Nothing huge and show stopping just enough to be noticed by a trained eye. However in a few weeks of coming out it will get sorted out.

I've run EVE on both 64-bit and 32-bit Windows 7 dual booted on my Vista 32-bit machine. I didn't notice any problems or issues.
The only thing I did notice is that I had to use another game to install DirectX 9, though the EVE installer could do that too.
As a heads up, as far as I know there are alot of 32-bit programs that run under 64-bit windows, games included. Tough I can't really talk XP 64-bit all I hear is bad things about it. --- Koyama Ise, Applying logic in areas where it is logical to do so. |

+1 for the "running great on W7" party.
If you have Vista at this point, I would advise an immediate upgrade to Windows 7 when it's released. If you're using XP at the moment, then you can wait a bit.
In my opinion, it's an immense upgrade over Vista. If only to remove the damn File Rating in the explorer views... I mean, how the **** will you rate your .dll's? File I/O is also back to XP standards again - no more waiting minutes for Vista to figure out what to do with the 500 files you've selected and right clicked.

Running Windows 7 RC1 on both a tower and a laptop, the laptop changed from Vista, both working fine with all my programs and hardware including Eve.
Have pre-ordered 2 copies of 7 (Full Home Pre versions in the UK not upgrades like the USA) to replace either XP or Vista.

My both EVE accounts run fine on my single box of "Windowns 7" called XPPro 64bits :P with excellent graphs btw
Why I'll care about W7 if even has not come out and it if it does would take another 5 years to get stable...if not pops out some W8 to repair W7 and Ast-La-Vista

Exactly what he said.
7+EVE = Great 7+GFX Drivers = Great 7+Drivers in general (for me) = Great
only problem I have with 7 atm is that its only valid till 02/03/2010
