I can't remember the best way of doing this one. Recruited a few new members to my corp and they want to get missioning experience. I just can't remember how the heck they can get a quick boost to their standings!
I know there's the Social and Connections skill, but obviously that doesn't help much if they haven't got any history with the mission corp.
Help?

Have them run lvl4s with someone and share mission rewards.

and, if you want them to raise even faster, as soon as they are able to accept L4 missions on their own, let them initiate the missions, and have them keep all the rewards.

Also, depending on the agents (and the missions) it can oftentimes be more beneficial for the members to run level 3s on their own once they are able to than to split level 4s. Or let them accept a level 3 and then finish it as quickly as possible and have them turn it in without sharing.

Data Centers. Three agents (one per system) don't require standings or tags to complete. If you want Gallente standings, you do the three in Gallente space. And you can do the three in Minmatar space if you want even more, since 80% of standings gained there will help you with Gallente. With Connections lvl 1-2, that's usually enough to start with lvl 3 agents.
Then if you have money to **** away, buy tags and you can go through all the other data center agents (in space) for more standings.

Does the Data Center thing work if a corp doesnt like you very much? I mean, will they let me work for them?

Dude, read the page better. There are two agents in every system that don't need any standings whatsoever (six agents and six standings boosts per faction, but three of those require copper tags).
If you're getting that message, you're trying to talk to the wrong one.

I would love to be able to ratchet up my standings, but using the Data Center agents isn't all that. I've been to two so far (one requiring tags, the other not). I got a good deal on the market for a few Blood coppers, but that single missions still cost me millions of isk for negligible faction increase. Both agents missioning yielded only a miniscule (.08?) faction increase.
Look closely before you rely on Data Center agents for faction boost. In looking briefly at the DC agents for Amarr, for example, most of them are tag collection agents. At this point not worth the isk cost, imho.
