LoW - your b/o on 12 & 13 is significantly below my own estimation of their value, which is strange when you consider that these are 2 of the better ones in that group and you think the job-lot is worth more than the 54 Bil b/o i have received
Mineral Xchange - your bid is being considered, you have 3 days to collect the contract
RRNL - I have checked my (eve)mail and can't see anything from you
The 54 Bil buyout for the crystal BPOs has been accepted and the contract has been collected
I have also found a 13 Bil buyout / 11 Bil bid for the Skiff BPO in my evemail

Edited by: Fartislartbast on 21/07/2009 06:24:10 For all the number-crunchers out there, here's a couple of build-price comparisons:
ME:30 Hulk v max-run BPC
ME:20 Skiff v max-run BPC
Material prices are based on the average prices of the top 100 sell orders at all 4 main hubs on 5th June 2009

of course you can bid, but i have already posted that Mineral Xchange has 3 days to collect the contract.
will your bid still stand if he fails to collect the contract though?

100 Bil buyout offer on the Hulk BPO has been accepted
15 Bil buyout offer on the Skiff BPO has been received via evemail - although I haven't rejected it out of hand, it is not being considered at this time and bids are still being accepted.
highest bid to date on the Skiff BPO is 11 Bil received via evemail
Although I would prefer the transparency of these bids/offers being made on here, people who know me will vouch for my integrity

I have known Fartislartbast and worked with him in game for a number of years, he has been trusted with billions of ours and other corps isk as well as putting his own collection of bpo's up for others to use. I vouch and trust him 100% when he says he has in game bids, Its just a shame I could not raise the 100 bil for the hulk bpo

freeinkneedlepointroller: I'm assuming you're asking why i'm posting a buyout offer on here and then waiting to see if the bidding on here goes higher. There's are a couple of reason for this.
1) If the buyout was near to, or higher, than my expected value then I would post that I was 'considering' it, set-up the contract to the bidder and see if they take it. I've seen many, many auctions on here where buyouts have been offered and then not taken.
2) If the buyout is good, but still too far below for me to offer the contract, I get in touch with the bidder to see if it is a 'take it now or forget it' bid. If it isn't then I post it to the auction so that everyone knows that the offer has been made but not accepted yet. With the 15 Bil offer, the bidder has stated that if I wait too long to accept it he'll revert to bidding on here.
Terrador : item 3 was sold to a 19 Bil buyout (see 2nd post)
skilzrulz : see point 2

its basics of business maths, profit begins there where the investment is paid off. Hoping for a successful regain/resale of the investments is a bad calculation.

Depends on whether the investement is recoverable or not. In this case, the capital being invested doesn't depreciate; the BPO would likely sell for as much or more than it is currently worth whenever the buyer chose to sell it, so what you really should be looking at here is return on invested capital relative to other investment options.
And with that, bump.

I can confirm that I did receive a in-game bid from Mr Laboratoryrat before the 19:00 deadline and therefore his bid is valid.
However, having already turned-down buyout offers which were higher than the final auction bid, I am not willing to sell the BPO at this price.
Thanks for all the bids and offers on all the items offered and congratulations to those players who were successful.

lol what are u for half cooked auctioner.... First u only accept half buyout bids.. "if nobody comes higher your the winner". Then u turn around and say i dont accept buyout bids i will let the auction run as it is. Now the finaly auction bids is lower then some buyout offers u come around and say its not sold cause of that.. Good luck on auctioning this print again i doubt anyone will bid higher on this print with a profit margin of 2.5b a year
