Rogue Merlin	Posted - 2009.07.19 15:12:00 - [1] Well, I hope Too Ducky and TNT are happy at last. He stirred the ** so much it seems to be snowballing now. Oh, just so you will know, I was a long time member of VAF. Unlike Ducky, when I disagreed with the direction Scorched was taking I said my good byes to my friends, explained my reasons and quietly moved on. When I heard about the death threats to God Chaser the first person who popped into my mind was Too Ducky because he seemed to be the only person in the game who was taking it personally enough to move it into real life. For those of you who seemed to have missed it, God Chaser did report it to the police and it is being investigated, and they really don't care about it being connected with an internet spaceship game. If they used a phone and it crossed state line, that also makes it federal in the US under the anti terrorist act. This is my first post on the forums. I don't normally read them because they are full of so much , mostly posted by goons. It doesn't matter if it was a goon, tnt, or some other nutcase that decided he could stir some more **, the goons and others have lowered themselves even more by calling God Chaser a liar and a nutcase. As for him providing proof that the call happened and posting a copy of the police report for everybody to read, are you crazy? There is already one person with his real life name and phone number and you want him to post that information for everyone else since it would be on the police report? If he did post it goons and others would just call him a liar and say it was a fake. Yes, he was a little emo in his first post about this but wouldn't you be too if someone had called your home and threatened you and your family? CCP must be riding a little heat behind this incident. Only threads that I see locked are ones that concern the death threat to God Chaser. Do you think maybe CCP have gotten a phone call from the FBI or Homeland Security asking for a subscriber list with contact info like home address and phone numbers? Maybe they wanted a list of all those who were trolling and making veiled threats in the locked threads? Think about it. Why were just these threads locked for trolling and spam when almost all the other threads, some of which are many more pages long, are all full of the same style of trolling and spam? Goons and my opinion of them. I too spent years fighting Bob since the days of ASCN. I have spent months flying with Goons and actually enjoyed combat in their fleets. Fleet coms was always pretty good. I didn't care for the language in the lobby while waiting for a drag but I took it with a grain of salt, after all this was goons. After reading page after page of trolls against God Chaser, calling him everything from a liar to a nutcase, I am starting to wonder who is in charge of Goon, all the doctors and lawyers that one goon claimed were members, or all the 20somethings who live in their mom's basement and play internet spaceship games 23/7 because they don't have a job? Now there is a new thread accusing God Chaser of hacking Goon forums. Well, as a number of goons posted in the other threads, Proof or STFU. Oh, have a nice day while waiting for the knock on your door from a person with a nice shiny badge asking if you have a personal problem with God Chaser.

Now I'm not defending the chuckleheads that compromise a good portion of BYRN, but nothing anyone does in a game justifies death threats, ever. This whole drama in WC has gotten WAY out of hand. Grow up people. ROWDY WANTS YOU!!

Actually, I like to egg those people on. :D Because in my experience, they won't do ***. Sure they'll call you and make threats (Which you can report to the police.) or post threats online. But so what? That's just showing how much of a female body part* they are. And the second they take it into IRL (as in actually coming to your place of residence) you can get physical with them and claim "Self defence." :D So no, I wouldn't get emo over that. The only thing I get emo over is not getting laid.

Taking it to the forums and yelling back and forth in some self-rightous manner as if EVE and the happenings in it are the most important things that happens is and should be embarrasing to you and the people you associate with. If you feel the need to cram a thread or more than one thread about a topic that is more relavent to CCP and their employees and should be handled through petitions, and/or e-mail. There is nothing the Eve public can or is willing to do for you other than eat popcorn and laugh at you. This anaysis is properly generic because both sides are guilty of it. Except goons, they don't even read what they are responding to, let alone what they type.
