Do you guys have any suggestions for evading a station camp? I'm stuck in a station in 0.0 and need to sneak by.
There are about 12 ships in the camp, but the composition of the force is unknown to me. I know they've been using stealth bombers lately but I have no idea if that's the case right now.
Any suggestions?

enemy composition is a must, If they have interdictors, heavy dictors or anchored a bubble on the staition undock point with an inty or some other ship to decloak your not leaving the staition for a while.
Remeber what happend to kenny's cap fleet a while ago.

Optional: Create a quick alt, go in the system you're stuck in and scout them. _____________

Find out their active timezone, wait till say after downtime and try to sneak out. I'm sure they wont be covering that station 24/7, just be patient as someone said. Also remain silent so they don't know if your there or not (and smack could fuel their ability to wait on you).
In future log out in a safe-spot.

Depending on the # of campers or their corp, add them to your addressbook to get a better feel for when they are on and if they are. -

First of all do you know what the station perimeter is like? Is it one of those eject stations that bumps you out 2-3 km in space when you undock, or does it have a decent undocking perimeter?
If it has a good undocking perimeter, undock, right away press Ctrl+Space to decelerate your ship such that it says "ship stopping" on our screen. You can spam this while you are blackscreening. This will ensure that your velocity doesn't carry you out of undocking perimeter.
You will be invulnerable for 30 seconds after undocking, meaning that during this time they won't be able to gain lock and fire on you. Turn on your session change timer to see when the 30 seconds are up. Initiating warp or activating any modules will break this invulnerability. However, you won't be able to dock back up until the session change clears, hence why you should not do this. They can attempt to bump you but if station undocking perimeter is sufficiently big they won't be successful.
While you are in those 30 seconds of invulnerability, assess the situation outside. If way is clear, initiate the warp-the-hell-out. If they are camping, you can simply redock once your session change timer shows that 30 seconds have been up. Key is to not break your invulnerability or end up undocking from eject station. Chances are first time you undock and do this none of them will be in a bumping position, but 2nd or 3rd time if they are smart they will make an attempt at it.

This breaks your 30 seconds of invulnerability, and will let them target and shoot before your session timer is over and lets you redock.

Edited by: Manthoss on 21/07/2009 07:58:39 I prefer to bore them to death. Stay logged on all day when you are afk. Don't log off. They may realize that you are afk, but they won't be able to tell when you come back. Also the longer they wait the more they drop their guard.
Having an alt scout the station camp right when you are trying to make a run for it is smart. Even having a friend do it helps.
The best time to squeeze past a station camp like that is right before or right after downtime. Good luck

Edited by: splockster on 22/07/2009 06:38:16 I agree with the stay online and bore em to death option, altough sometimes they can be doing the same...i`ve seen 12 cloakers bring a system to a standstill when we sc****d a gang together half were afk.For the future have an undock point so you can insta warp away or log off in pos/ss.A noob alt works really well also.
now why would sc****d get **** ?

I did exactly this just this morning. Server came up 15 minutes early, I was camping the login, 5 jumps through 0.0, and never saw another ship in space, a few in-system, but likely docked. Get online before they have a chance to gang up on the station. Good luck.
