since I could find an answer in the EULA or with the search tool.
If one person got 5 accounts and is macromining with 3 of them. Will the "person" get banned or just the 3 macromining accounts? |

The three macro-mining accounts will almost certainly get permabanned if discovered. The others however MIGHT get away with a warning (and on any subsequent occasion where a warning might have been given, directly banned). Or they might get banned directly... I guess it depends on how blattant and wide-spread the EULA breach was, and how good the mood of the investigating GM's is at that time.

I would think that widespread use of a hack in a sandbox MMO would be a flag to the developers that they have something in their game that needs to be made more interesting and/or streamlined. (Maybe mining needs to be made more interesting or maybe people ought to be able to create auto-miner programs that run on their ship's computer.)
Coming from more standard MMOs (LOTRO most recently), I was hoping that EVE wouldn't feel the need to impose grinding on the players. (I actually think grinding is counterproductive, even in regular MMOs, but I know that's a minority opinion.)

Its a flag to the developers that there is lazy cheats around. Many players never mine in this game, you do not have to at all. Unlike other games you are not forced or feel obliged to do any particular activity.

Yes because having cheaters has to do with the bad quality of your game, not at all with the non-effort "lal" mentality of the players. Btw, EVE has no grind, only if you make it into one. You don't need to mine, you don't need to run missions. You CAN, but only if you want to.

To make this clear, I was in no way planing to use any bot/hack/macro.
Would be silly to throw away all the game time I payed and time I invested to a game, I actualy enjoy. Its cuz a guy I play with, who I thought of, that hes one of the few trustworthy. But sadly I found out, that he abused my and my comrades trust, by breaching the EULA.
