Admiral Thorn	Posted - 2009.07.20 04:05:00 - [1] I have been suffering from crashes when using more than one client as of late. I have been trying to fix the issue using new Ati drivers and nothing has worked. This was true until I use good old Driver Cleaner to check for updates. I had the latest driver from Ati but was told I was using an old driver. So I used what was supposed to be the latest driver from Driver Heaven and it was the December 08 driver... 8.12 on their website. Since BACK DATING (BTW thanks for nothing ATi) I have had no crashes running 3 clients. So I am mining hauling and ratting again with no trouble. Only downside is that whenever you close a ful screan game (CS:S) there is a 5-10 sec freeze which was resolved with the later drivers. Long story short... I will take the 5-10 sec freeze over the use of only one client. Just on a personal note, I use ati because they are far better value for money but atm the damn drivers SUCK! Can't wait till I have the cash for a new system and an i7 board with multi GPU support. Best thing since sliced bread. Now the customer can use what works best at the right time. Hope this helps some of you out theresuffering with this problem. Peace and fly safe... unless your Red Alliance. The void of space is a B****!

In fact, I haven't had any issues with ATI drivers for some years now. I have a feeling you didn't properly install your drivers the first time around. ---
