Here's hoping they at least reseed the advanced learning skills while they're figuring out what went wrong :)

Tripped over or pulled is the question.
Odd how so many say they cant get on at dt to get skills and then a reboot happens at a time when large ammounts r on.

was on auto pilot to pick up something, not really paying attention ( watching tv) then i see the screen go grey...check the client " proxy not connected" wtf? check my other machine " proxy not connected" hummm...wait a few min....
no connection to server established wtf?!

Well, ive been thinking, considering i just right clicked my skill and was just .1 second away from clicking Train Skill and got a C++ runtime error, i think everytime the server goes down like this, all players who were online should get some kind of conpensation for there subscription time, from the time the servers go down untill they are back up, Excluding downtime ofcourse, Maybe conpensation of ISK maybe, even if its something little, It will be nice seings we are paying for subscription and this keeps happening, I myself wouldnt get so mad if i knew i was gonna be conpensated, Example( When the servers go down your skills train 2% faster for the time the servers are down or maybe, Be conpenstated with a few K of ISK or maybe minerals or modules, ;)

I'm not terribly suprised though. What with the new skills and items coming up, the server has been hammered since it was booted up this morning. I'm actually more suprisedthat it survived the initial log-on than I am that it's finally gone down.

a quick question. I was 22km away from 4 pirate ships when server went down, will I be dead and lost some skills when server gets up and I login?

Im not one to rant but the servers are paid for with our subscriptions and so should be able to support our gametime, these server crashes seem to be getting more and more frequent and it is becoming a constant pain. The amount of players and thier subscriptions should ensure we have a server setup capable of supporting the excellent game CCP have and are producing. There is no point adding content galore when people sit and look at "proxy not connected" the servers should be the number concern atm. THe fault balancing i hoped would fix alot of these issues but seems everyday we just "expect" a server crash regardless of what content or changes have been made.
Hope efforts are made to change the servers stabilities. Goodluck CCP

Well they did, I just logged in to see 16 of each skill in the station I'm in for 5,500,000. I rattled down the skills list buying them all, however my wallet didn't go down, and on closer inspection it just added buy orders to my wallet, so I guess they sold out again :/
However even now they are still listed on the market as being in stock and at 5,500,000. I guess it must be lagged to hell and back currently.
EDIT: Hmm now I finally have the skills and the money has been deducted, but the buy orders remain in my wallet and won't cancel. Must be really really lagged!
