We start with a Basic laser. Is the Miner 1 better? According to EVE DB, the descriptions don't tell me to much so I am not sure if I will see any improvement using it.
Thanks

miner I's and II's operate for the same amount of time (60 sec per cycle) as basic miners, they just bring in more ore with each cycle...40 and 60 units of ore respectively, as opposed to 20 from basic miners. miner II's have higher mounting requirements (cpu and powergrid) ------------------------------------------------

Minor clarification (pun not intended): the figures given by Psssdoff are for cubic metres of ore, not units of ore. All the empire ores are less than 1m¦ per unit, but the size increases for the more valuable ores until you reach mercoxit which is 40m¦ per unit. (And needs a special laser to mine, and sometimes explodes and does damage, and is only found in the darkest, nastiest bits of 0.0 space... )
