I'm posting this here for a few reasons. Too many people here, on this specific forum, for me to remember or even know of liked Ed Kraka's antics or spoke to him frequently in game is pretty much the main one.
Ed Kraka (Aaron) died Sunday while riding his motorcycle. Some of you probably think he was a ****, and I'm expecting some replies in that vein, but he was our **** and we loved him for it. Over the past few years of flying with him through Racketeers, Mutineers and Maximum Yarrage, most of the core of the current Max Yarr looked to him for leadership and hilarious banter on ventrilo. Those of us who started flying with him in Max Yarr, or like myself, left and rejoined the group after a hiatus were not as fortunate as the players who stuck with him.

Aaron was a top bloke to know , a real character , in game and out .

I remember driveing with him in the passanger seat once and getting stuck behind some old fart for 15 minutes , as soon as i got chance to overtake he promtly threw his thicksake all over their windscreen and almost caused a pretty bad pileup 
Times with Aaron were always about ****s n giggles , he never went by half measures.

I liked Ed while I was in Racketeers. He was fun to fly with. I especially liked the way he and the others "gave notice" to the Racketeers leadership (Renegade and Rat) when they decided to leave.
He had style.

GGs Ed. The guy did have a certain style that's hard to forget. Whatever family he had, my heart goes out to them. Abrupt loss of family is difficult to cope with.

Sorry to hear this news, yes he was something of a ****.... but he was my favorite ****, I'd never of gotten rid of him.
Everything from being an old war target in Brother's Word while I was new, to stealing an entire alliance with you guys. He will be missed, but I'll be damned if he'll be forgotten...

I was extremely saddened to learn of EdÆs Death earlier today. I received a phone call from one of my corp mates and could not believe that he had died.
Ed played the game just as it was meant to be played, like a game. If you were his enemy he would come off as a real ****, I agree :) but for everyone else who know him more personally, his corp mates, knew that he was a strong leader and a great FC who was not afraid to show a little tough love in order to keep his fleet in line.
As the Founder of Maximum Yarrage I often looked up to Ed Kraka for advice on running the corp. Ed Kraka quickly became my right hand man and when I decided to step down Ed had no problem with taking the extra slack and filling in where I had left off.
Under EdÆs leadership Maximum Yarrage became much larger and more powerful then I had ever hoped. He successfully****cuted the first Alliance heist in eve history (even before BOB).
Ed was certainly a rare type of person. And will be missed in eve and out.

6 weeks into playing EVE, joining the RACKETEERS and meeting Ed (an his play style) is what has kept me here since then and at least for another 6 mths. (Paided in advance)
Will miss you Ed, we all do.

Ed will be giving them hell where ever he may be, He was a blast to chat with and always had a good laugh while flying with him. I will miss his antics as he always had something goin on that could keep you entertained for hours. I met Kraka while just a noob, (He was the first person to pop me) and am glad to say that I got to know him and i wish his family and friends the best. Ed will be missed by many and still hated by more. But thats what he wanted. He wasnt having fun if he wasnt ****ing someone off. As its just pixels on a screen as he would say :) But either way so long and farewell Ed Kraka, It was a blast to have met you.

Even though i haven't fought along side him as long as the rest, i can say from the short time i knew him he was a helluva guy, kept vent lively,knew how to bring a fight and definetly seemed liked someone you could hang out with in RL and put away a few pints. You will be missed. Fly safe.

Ed was a great guy. He came across hard lined guy but he was one of the soundist people i have ever had the chance to know. He will be missed in life and the game. Ed was one of games best charecters. In real life Aaron was a great laugh to to talk to and im honered to have had the privlage to known him. RIP mate never forget you mate :(

A real **** to strangers, but a great friend to those close to him.
3 years ago, when i was a total noob and knew nothing about pvp, he recruited me into Racketeers. Even then he had this "**** the world, I do what I like" attitude. Me, him and many other players from back in the Racketeer days stayed together as a group, while seeing most of what eve has to offer.
Even though we only spoke face to face once (never knew getting that drunk was even possible), I'm proud to say he was a close friend and I enjoyed every second of the time I spent with him. In both eve and RL.
He will be missed. And never forgotten.

actually, judging from the distance between ROAD and WALL, i'd guess he died because he was a moron who thought he was immortal. boy did that ever turn out wrong. there's nothing glorious about a bike meeting something sturdier than it.
someone who knew him IRL mentioned riding in a sidecar and almost causing a pile up due to throwing a drink on a car's windshield? yeah he was a future darwin award nominee who finally got handed his award.

I am shocked and sad to hear of Ed's passing. He undoubtedly made EVE a much more enjoyable and entertaining place. I feel like I learned a lot from him and will never forget the nights of endless laughter. It was a pleasure flying with you Ed in RAK and YOHO, you will be missed.

I've spent many an hour on Vent with Mr Kraka since first joining RAK an age ago - hilarious drunken rants a-plenty. He'll be missed by many myself included.

I'm very sorry to bring this topic back from the dead, but I've recently rejoined Eve and have been trying to contact Ed.
Really sorry to hear this news, Ed was a great guy and a total laugh on TS, I had the privilege to fly with him in Racketeers and Mutineers.
RIP.
Sorry for bringing it back up but I felt I had to pay some respects.
