Ok harvester's work now, but what is with them mining like basic mining drones. 10 ore/minute with 30 cargo space is a basic mining drone. My 100 space to put it in my drone bay harvester which is supposed to be the best drone in the game should be 30 ore/minute with 100 cargo space. So why is the harvester mining with basic mining drone stats?

basic holds 10m3
Harvaster holds 30m3
Not sure where you're getting 100 from? are you talking about your drone bay on your ship?

I dont know what you are reading but...
Basic mining drone mines 10 ore a minute, and HOLDS 30 cargo units.
Harvester mines 30 ore a minute (or at least it is supposed to) and HOLDS 100 cargo units (or at least it is supposed to again).
F.I.: mining drone advanced is 25 ore a minute and holds 50 cargo space. (i know this for a fact)

I don't know what your reading but all drones have no description when you show info ATM.
Standard drones mine 10 m3 and Harvesters mine 30 m3. That's from past info and that's what I get when I mine.
Depending on what your mining in m3 determines how many you get per load. 60 seconds seems to be a cycle reference and unlike mounted miner units is not accurate. They used to be at the end of beta returning thier load in 60 seconds but now they are lazy little buggers and drag thier feet on returning.
If you ever looked at the show info on standard drones you would recall they had so much information they looked like uber combat drones.That info was there since beta and never seemed to be fixed. *amazing eh*
Also there are still reports that standard drones aren't working at all and sometimes return ore and other times just sit there.(yes they are being opperated correctly) Seems to be system related perhaps.

Elite and Harvesters are basicly the same. Tho elite is the best. Considering the lower drone bay usage and faster speed. Both mine 30m3 per minute.
Basic mining drone is 10m3 per minute and fill 50m3 in your dronebay.

I was using Harvesters last night
They were giving me 25 Kernite every 60 seconds. I will have to check what the basic drones give but it was a LOT less I am sure
Update: Yep, Basic only give me 8 Kernite every 60 sec. (Only level 1 drone skills mind !)

i can confirm to that Harvester Drone mines 50 Omber every 60sec. Therefore it has 30m3 Cargo space. You got the wrong stats Blade!!
50 / 0.6 = 30
each Omber weights 0.6 m3

Harvesters work perfectly. Love mine. :)
Only advantage elites have is that they take half the space. Slightly faster travel speed is irrelevant. For someone with 800 dronebay, it would take me another month or two to use that all up, and by then I'd have a cruiser with a larger dronebay. :)

I have a different question on a similar topic. Is it really intended that busting open a caravan drop 1080 harvesters sometimes? It seems buggy to me, since those can be sold for a small fortune on the Trade channel, and other than Harvester drones caravans only seem to drop trade goods (which certainly can't be sold for 50k each like Harvesters).
