If this 'pathetic' guy insists on firing on CVA, I wouldn't be so keen to keep your ties with him or make up and kiss..might be bad for your organization.

Yeah, if you judge Aaron by this thread only you might think he is a little crazy, and you would be right! Who else but a crazy man would try a crazy stunt like this? LOL But seriously, He is a really cool guy. He enjoys the game, he is very social, he likes to chat, and he is willing to help. Are prices higher than empire? Yep. Will you make enough isk so that it doesn't matter? Yep I personally think he lost his temper once and everybody started crying like babies. We've all done that - it doesn't change the fact that it's a good idea, and he is a good guy.
I doubt it will be very hard to 'pick a side' - are you a humble player who doesn't need the spotlight? Just want to socialize, learn, and fly with like minded, friendly, mature gamers? It's Aaron. He's got your back. NRDS. The good guys. The underdogs, frankly.
If you want to hang out with the cool kids - your 15 minutes of fame is now - sign up with "The Others". NBSI. I imagine they will be pretty successful in the short term. There are a lot of folks that just want to be in the 'in crowd.'
I suppose I could be wrong, this is just my gut feeling after a few days of hanging out with Aaron and his crew.
Thanks for the invite Aaron! And to you pilots who are on the fence, come down NOW! What's the worst that could happen?

I've been having a great time down here. I have very little experience in 0.0; ratting in CVA space to haul loot and salvage back to empire, baiting pirates in low-sec border systems, etc.
What I like about being in 0.0 fulltime is how it's completely changed the game. You have to rely on your friends to get anything done - and they need to rely on you. I enjoy learning about 0.0 tactics. Ratting is more fun when you have a couple of guys and you need to consider what ships to bring in case an enemy shows up. It's more fun when you get loot too - you may need that module that was dropped, or the salvage, to fit your next ship. Aaron has just about everything, and is willing to build or sell at a discounted rate, but every bit helps and it adds to the experience. Wormholes changed from being a place to get better rats to "man I hope a wormhole shows up soon, I could really use an exit to Empire for skillbook xxx." I've always ignored local chat, now I laugh my ass off at some of the things said in local.
Things haven't been easy. The people who split with Aaron are skilled. They are stubborn and have on some days locked us down completely. Sometimes we play station games and can't get anything done. Sometimes we make stupid mistakes and loose cheap ships. But sometimes we hold the field, sometimes they need to run, and man it's those times I just have a big grin painted on my face. I can tell you this, I learn something about this game nearly every day. And after this group of aggressors leaves, more will certainly come. I love the fact that while my wallet is getting fatter, it's not how I determine whether or not "i'm wining'.
Aaron is a nice guy, trying something different. To be honest, I don't care what his motives are. I think he started this trying to build up a market. But I believe it's changed - he now his primary goal is a "Safe(r) 0.0" place for those with the "NRDS" philosophy. If you want to be a common belt pirate - this isn't the place for you. Want to camp gates and blow up shuttles? Go somewhere else. Want a quieter 0.0 where you will be called upon to help defend our little slice of 0.0 as a last resort? This is it! You're not forced to join a corp or alliance. He makes no demands of you. He bends over backwards to make this little experiment a success.
He is supporting my effort down here and my gaming experience has been improved because of it. I didn't think I would ever find a home in 0.0 where I would fit in - I'm glad I found this thread. If you're looking for something completely different, contact Aaron and get down here ASAP! Every pilot helps.

What Neo posted is exactly how it went down. Everybody wants a peaceful system to work in but Aaron has his personal vendettas. That's all there really is too it. Aaron wants it all, he wants it now, his way, or the stargate. Good luck with that Aaron.

Edited by: Erick Odin on 25/12/2009 20:41:46 Aaron quotes from the first 20 pages u have to listen to me and follow my tactics to minimise losses. im a veteran and i got over 30 billion isk in my wallet. well i want ur isk, im not gonna lie and theres also carrier spawns where u find 50 milllion trit in the loot, (must be sold to me) ur really quite stupid to to be focusing on the fact that i use the letter "u" instead of you, If people listen to me and follow what i say then their losses will be minimised It really isnt that hard living here, just do as i suggest and u will be ok i will protect u by using my diplomacy, camping, subterfuge, and PVP i can only show you the door its actually you that has to open it and walk through. I informed them ive been here for like 5 years, and that they dont make the rules in the system, Ive fought many battles here and lost many ships, no way am i gonna give up this system to a bunch of 2007 players. I think i will have to pod them, so ive got the system to myself and my people. *sigh* the decisions i have to make.. I did feel bad that i did it, but thats how it goes, how dare they try to tell me the rules in my own system. Do they really think they can take me on?? Am I gonna have to down another ship of theirs before they get the message?? THEY CANT STAY!!! I will always be the first target, i represent people in hi sec that really want to come 0.0 and not join an alliance. I represent hope. i represent the future, everything just seems right when i talk to some of u ur all brilliant people with good views and opinions. its as if all of this was meant to be this way, i think this is destiny, the way things are supposed to happen. Im looking forward to being contacted by ccp and all of this appearing on the news channel, Ultimatley it is the eve community that is responsible for the success of this venture, for that i am eternally grateful. Yes, im man enuff to admit my tactics have remained the same over a few years im not recruiting anyone, im simply helping people setup here, your a very small minded person. your mind is so small infact that u cant see the bigger picture. im a grown man, ur a child, What i did was attack Stain Empire through Psychology Id probably attack u cos of ur attitude alone buddy they always have to bring in carriers to beat me being in the position I am, I have to make decisions that I myself wont like, I have to do it for the good of the entire community. As I said, a person in my position has to make decisions to ensure the prosperity of the community. Lets face it your a bitter person, and the fact no one down here really likes you says it all. you seriously cant see that your actions and the way you talk make people dislike you?? Youve got lots of growing up to do in game, and evidently in real life. Your not even down here yet and ur already getting on my nerves. When you come down here it is important that you compose yourself in a manner that is alligned with my objectives Anyone that repeatedly ignores what I have asked will make our friendship difficult. I think one of the problems were facing at the moment with Hub Zero is that few pilots dont want to do what I am asking. Its going to be difficult for us to recover from this and i really cant be bothered to go out of my way for u guys anymore. After carful consideration I decided to close down Hub Zero, My reasons for doing this is that people are selfish and i feel this can never change. I couldnt handle it, and was annoyed that things had changed so much. I felt excluded from my own project i wasnt having it. for u to say u guys banded againnst me is very silly and childish What is it exactly that you hope to acheive in my system? Come to me with a better more humble attitude Under no circumstance will you be able to do this on your own in my system Tbh, im not sure why im even bothering to write this, its apparent you guys have difficulty rea

There are quite a few people down here that have the natural abillity to lead others, this is a great thing because it takes some of the pressure of management from myself.
Sorry Aaron I have tried to resist a blatant snipe, but with 46 pages and a gem like this I cant resist.
Alliance management discussions in General Discussion? Non-aggression pacts with major alliances? Combating the evil Stain Empire? Surely, this is no longer appropriate for General Discussion. Simply mentioning the goons or CVA in a thread will get it locked. Why is this thread exempt? If it's allowed for Eternal Ascension, why not open it up for the other alliances as well?

Hey I don't make the rules. Alliance discussion, non-aggression agreements, management issues : these things belong in another forum - you know, the one specifically designed for these types of threads. It's not, you know, General, it's very specific. It's about one system, one alliance (Eternal Ascension), your politics etc. You're the one going on and on about Eternal Ascension, Local-Spike. These are alliances and corporations. How about the thread gets moved there?

We can offer you security we can help provide logistics and also we can provide probing services so that you can mine high end mnerals. Oh yea on top of that we would also be your biggest customers as we grow so to will the oppertunities we can offer you.
And just so there is no confusion, THIS IS NOT A RECRUITING THREAD. I know it looks like it, but trust us, it isn't!
