Has the new leader of hub zero arrived yet? Hopefully he can stop the war with AoV.

I heard rumors the sealed train got lost en route
seriously: we need a spokesperson, not a leader.
But your leader stepped down, no? WTF I can't keep up with this thread. I thought KP was going to step in, or Major Trant. New leader, new diplomat, that is what this great idea needs. Maybe even a new location, I saw Providence tossed out as an idea, any other options?
Don't worry Aaron, it's great you let it go. You got it started but you keep destroying it. Lots of corp founders get forced out because they have no real management experience. Just because you started it doesn't mean your shareholders or employees want to see it destroyed over and over again.

Thanks Dagny, that helps.

Yes, Aaron stepped down as the "leader" of Hub Zero - meaning he recognizes that he does no longer speak for the whole of the people looking to realize the concept of Hub Zero in UF.
Well, whatever the heck is happening, at least this is a start. You may consider setting up some sort of council (without Aaron, but with his alliance diplomat) to setup some general operating practices. CVA, for example, has a KOS list that everybody is obliged to follow. Without alliance standings, getting everybody on the same page will be difficult. If his alliance refuses to go along with the 'council' you may have to eject it from the Hub. In this way, he no longer gets to arbitrarily setup people as KOS (path0gen, demolisher, dalv) and it will be a group decision. However, be warned, the groups decision is likely to mean little to Eternal Ascension, and Aaron just may take his alliance is a completely different direction.

Nobody said Aaron should be removed from Corp or Alliance. He should be removed from the Hub if he can't follow the rules the council creates. You just can't have one yahoo causing trouble for the whole community.
I mean, really, telling a well respected NRDS alliance from Providence to gtfo?

I'm just somebody, like Orpheia, who wants to see this crazy NRDS idea succeed. Without some changes, Aaron will continue to drive everybody out.

I beg your pardon, but Aaron is the one who said he is stepping down and trying to distance himself from the Hub.
I thought this was a new beginning. I was mistaken. I will now go about my business. Thanks for listening, and good luck Hub.

yeah this Dracvlad guy just seems to be an Aaron puppet. He won't address all of my questions either, just the ones that support his POV. For example, he only addressed Fleet of the Dammed leaving, not The Ascension or Trant. And before that, "The Neutrals" not only left, but joined the dissidents. And if I read this thread correctly, AoV was practicing NRDS in the Hub, honorably, just as they did in Providence. They left too.

Well, if I understand the concept correctly, "Hub Zero" doesn't have a leader. It's just a place where neutrals aren't shot on sight.
Hopefully, the neutrals won't be forced to follow any rules. Will neutrals be allowed to engage people red to them?

Let Aaron go, and Drac can follow. Then the real business of getting on with Hub Zero, can begin. Nothing better can happen, in my humble opinion, for Hub Zero, than Aaron leaving the area. Let Celes begin rebuilding without that troublemaker Aaron.

Newbies: Don't sell your soul for a few lousy ships worth a couple of million. Here is a tip: By a few blueprint copies of the ships Aaron mentions. Fly down in a fast ship with a decent cargo hold, like a mining frigate. Fly around UF-KKH collecting loot. Reprocess this loot. Use your blueprint to build the three ships Aaron mentions: Cruiser, Destroyer, and Industrial. Use these three ships to repeat the process until you can build yourself a battle cruiser. If you are Amarr, you will have an easier time because you can use some of the loot you collect.
If you accept the free ships from Aaron you will never hear the end of it. Stay independent! Stay neutral! Remember, the whole concept is getting neutrals into 0.0, and if you accept these ships you won't be neutral anymore. He will ask you to use these ships to go and collect loot for "the good of the community." Basically, you turn into a slave.
Another tip: Just get off the warp in for the asteroid belts, stay aligned to the station or some other spot, watch local and your directional scanner if known enemies are in the system. It's really that simple. No need to sell your independence.

There are a few enemies still around here that are happy to hang around for 10 hours per day just to make you feel as if nothing can be achieved here.
A brand new neutral in the Hub has no enemies. Once you start accepting free ships and socializing on voice, you now have Aaron's enemies as your own. Aaron doesn't want true neutrals, he wants to be the leader of an alliance.
Noobies, take my advice: Go have fun in Hub Zero. Stay aligned. Gather loot. Bring a few blueprints. They won't shoot you. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, GET INTO DEBT with Aaron.

I was kinda wondering where your comming from there spacer, It seems evident that you dont know how it goes down here. Ive also posted hundreds of times that there is no obligation to join my corp/alliance.
I know how it goes. You may say that people are under no obligation to join, but it doesn't really matter, does it? You have also said hundreds of times that 'we have to work as a team' - is there any real difference?

The bottom line is that our main enemy Stain Empire and almost all the other alliances are NBSI to the core. if you are in their sights they will not hesitate to destroy you, regardless of if you are with me or not. The truth is that if you plan to come here and you are new, it will be to your benefit to work as part of the community giving and recieving help.
Or, just work as an independent. Stay out of the battle. I have no problem with Stain Empire. I really don't care if they try to shoot me, it's what they do. But I don't need to be caught up in some Jihad against them. Neutral means Neutral, not simply "Not in Aaron's alliance but follows his orders and works towards his objectives." Develop your own relationships with other neutrals, when it benefits both parties.
Think about it. If all you have down there in Hub Zero is Stain Empire hating Aaron subjects, how is it any different? You need Neutrals. True Neutrals! The questions is, will they be welcome?

personally, I'd like to know more about this. What were your experiences in goonswarm Aaron? Is this why you wants large quantities of newbs in t1 ships at your command? Are you still a member? In the spirit of full disclosure, why don't you 'out' this alt?

I don't have a problem with you helping new guys understand how to stay safe ratting in npc 0.0.
It's weird that you get so much enjoyment out of it, but I don't have a problem with it.
Here, let me explain to the newbies how to do it.
- Watch local. - Setup up belt safe spot at least 60km from the warp in point of the belt. This is so tacklers don't land right on top of you. Get a complete set of safe spots for all of the belts in the system. Get station safe spots and gate safe spots while your at it. - Stay aligned to something. This is so you can warp out if a hostile shows up. If you are aligned, it's virtually impossible for you to get warp scrambled. - Use your directional scanner every few seconds if hostiles are around. If you see a ship on scan that you aren't sure is friendly (or neutral and following NRDS), get ready to warp out. You are aligned right? - Don't just align to the station or a gate. If hostiles enter the system, they might put a bubble on those.
I just helped high sec guys get into 0.0. You can stop questioning my e-honor now Aaron.
This is really common knowledge and doesn't require a mentor. It's not worth loosing your independence to learn this.
Here is one more secret: You can do this in any NPC system in New Eden. Celes and her crew did it. Thousands have. You can even do it in Providence.

No, you wouldn't get everything. You wouldn't have Aaron there shooting you, even though you're blue, and you also wouldn't have Aaron ****ing off your allies. Also, no 70 page thread about you.

Well, hopefully Celes will take the crew and begin a Hub Zero that will work. I believe he should start a new thread so all of this drama will be history.
9 months, 70 pages. What has the project become? Aaron telling himself how awesome he is, blaming everybody but himself, kicking everybody out, still foaming at the mouth over Gabriel Angelus.
Congrats on a job, done.

Payback is a witch, Aaron. I wonder if you should have bad-mouthed all those dozens of players you eventually shot, smacked, plotted against, etc.

Aaron, while attempting to change the face of Eve by bringing newbs into npc 0.0, ends up shooting blues over and over and over again. Because he is Eve's savior, and superior to every pilot in the game because of his NRDS policy, he is allowed to shoot blues.
Did I mention Aaron likes to shoot blues? Alot?

And, apparently, he is a connoisseur of smack talk. Along with his aforementioned shooting of blues, these traits have helped make Aaron very popular with many players.
