k i have the same prob with my new radeon 9600 pro .... but i cant set my agp speed to 4x
must say i cant do any game
... Eve not, Doom 3 Not The sims 2 not and even and old game : star trek armada doesnt work... all cause my pc to crash
when i start my pc it reboots once and after then it works okey but not when i play any game

deinstalled all ati stuff ... rebooted... then reinstalled newest catalyst and still crashing
Btw mobo cant handle more than 2 x agp i think.... could be the problem there

it seems its the low agp speed of my Mobo.
I replaced the 9600 with another geforce card of my brother and it works on 2 x agp... so new mobo imo
